Drum set is very nice. It's well-made and appealing, with small spikes at the ends of the bass drum supports. I'll put some rubber or velcro under them because I have a tiled floor, which you can see in the photo but I didn't notice. I was dissatisfied because there were no instructions, no part identification, and nothing else. Thanks to the internet, I was able to get by just fine without it. After giving one drum giant a poor review due to a lack of instructions, I've finally figured out that this is the industry standard. Maybe drummers are supposed to be tough guys who play hard ball and don't care if they drown or swim. I'm a woman, and I find the lack of instructions strange, inconvenient, and unfriendly.
They have a wonderful sound and are simple to tune. The quality and finish are both excellent. It came in a single heavy-duty box. There were no signs of damage. As with most drum sets, some assembly is required, but that is normal. Assembling instructions and a Yamaha drum key are included. You're not going to be let down.
Playing this drum kit is a lot of fun. The Remo Powerstroke heads sound fantastic on the bass drum. Exceptionally impressive. The quality of the fit and finish are outstanding. This is a very fine collection. Definitely a good investment. The fusion sizes are quite nice, so set it up and have a great time with it. You will not be sorry.
Drums with an unbelievable sound that could compete with any high-end drum set. I strongly advise you to do so. I just wish they were available in a gleaming black lacquer with an 8" tom.

Over the past 30 years, I've toured the world extensively with Yamaha hardware and drums, performing 350 shows per year. My drums have been tossed into and out of vans on a semi-regular basis. Trucks, cabs, planes, and other modes of transportation It has rained, snowed, been blasted by the wind, and been caught in a desert storm. No one has ever broken or failed to deliver on any of my Yamaha drums or hardware. I strongly recommend this product, regardless of what others have to say. They either have no idea what they're talking about or are simply Yamaha haters. Yamaha produces iconic quality drums that are seen and heard all over the world and are used by well-known and lesser-known drummers alike. Go ahead and listen to some music and let your ears do the talking. Don't be concerned about the construction; it will last, I assure you!.
I replaced the factory heads with Yamaha Absolute Hybrid Maple snares, and you won't find anything comparable at this price.
