I'm not sure what to say. Pearl is a fantastic drum company that knows how to set the mood, whether you're in a marching band, a metal band, or jamming with a group of friends in the basement, garage, or studio. The tone of this drum is amazing, and the setup was simple; within 15 minutes of receiving it in the mail, it was set up on my kit, tuned up, and ready to play, and I was playing it. The shell has a wonderful combination of attack and punch, while also producing a deliciously vibrant yet delicate sound. I give it a 15/10. it should be passed on 🖐.
I also purchased a 16x16 floor tom from the same line, which is more temperamental, but this high tom is a good deal.
This drum sounds fantastic right out of the box and didn't require any additional tuning.
I was looking for someone like Tom from 9x13.
Tom, you are incredible! Because it's a Pearl Export, it's indistinguishable from the rest of my gear. Thank you for your purchase.
