The gong has a string for hanging, doesn't it? Have any holes been drilled in it?

I agree on both counts. It came with a black cord when I bought the 12" version.

In this case, is the hole drilled through the gong on top or on the side?

A total of two holes are pre-drilled To the top of the gong, the holes were drilled. Approximately six inches separate the holes at the left and right of my 14" gong.

Before purchasing, do I have the option to hear what the sound is like? Would you please make a video thank you (like a picture)?

It is true. I purchased a 12" gong and it came with a black cord and 2 other pre-mounted gongs Drilled holes in the gong in order to run a string through it.
