Our gongs are hand-selected by the Gong Shop to ensure a high degree of With each Gong, you get a Mallet and string to hang it.

There is a large and nearly flat gong that produces a complex wave of music tones called a Wind Gong. Different sounds can be produced by playing the Wind Gongs with a drumstick and a gong mallet.

Handmade Gongs are sold by The Gong Shop, which uses Chinese traditional artisan techniques to make each Wind Gong. Bronze Wind Gongs are made from 80% copper, 20% tin, and are produced in B20 bronze.

The Wind Gong produces overtones at nodes ranging from high to low. With the smaller sizes you get a higher pitch but less power, while with the larger sizes you get a richer, deeper sound

Potential buyers need to be aware of these issues There was a padded envelope with the package. Having even a tiny crack on an instrument like this can render it useless - these should be shipped in a sturdy box or rigid mailer, like a picture.
