The sound of a maraca is very authentic

For years, I had a pair of Cosmic Percussion maracas that I really enjoyed. I tried a few "pro" and "studio" models, but they were insanely loud, sharp, and a bit "plasticy" in tone, and they unfortunately cracked due to transportation. Another cheap traditional-looking model (spray painted palm trees, et al) was muffled and didn't attack, which was the polar opposite of the others. These Meinl maracas are now exactly where they should be: Authentic wood tone (good definition without being shrill or piercing), excellent volume control from soft to loud, and excellent build quality. Take a look at these and see what you can come up with.

Maracas of excellent quality! These were a little more expensive than some of the other options, but they were money well spent in my opinion

spent. These are beautiful to look at, sound great, and are easy to hold and play. I'd recommend these, as well as the MEINL brand in general, because I've never been disappointed with anything I've ordered from them.

The quality of work is outstanding. Furthermore, these maracas are comfortable to hold, loud for wood instruments, and have a mellower timbre than metal or plastic shakers. Ideal for acoustic sessions and studio recording.

The maracas are superb

In the, they appear to be a dream. The maracas are superb. The handles are bulbed out where you should hold them for best control, and they feel like a dream in your hands. Also, the sound is clear and audible. You can turn it down for sultry hushed accents or turn it up to break through any sound barrier. br>br>I can't think of any drawbacks, and for the price, I don't believe you can go wrong if you prefer the sound of wood maracas to rawhide or gourd varieties.

The maracas are fantastic

These Meinl wood maracas are fantastic and took months to arrive. They're easy to hold and grip, have a nice finish, and produce a rich sound. It took months(!) to complete. It took a long time for my order to arrive, but it was well worth the wait. I had previously ordered a set of Meinl rawhide maracas as a gift, and they were delivered promptly, and my friend has been enjoying them ever since.
