It sounds great, but it sounds a little crunchy

These maracas have a nice feel to them, and the rawhide sound is a little more muted than the plastic ones. They're easier to mute than the plastic ones if you need to be quiet for a longer period of time. However, I agree with others who have commented that LP's fill could be a little smoother. It has a slight crunch to it. Aside from that, I don't have any complaints.
