6 PCS Percussion Instruments, Wrist Bells Jingle Bells Musical Rhythm Toys

  Our 8-year-old son has a seizure disorder, and he has them at night when the rest of the family is sleeping. We started wearing bell-adorned elastic bracelets last year. I tried several types in jewelry stores but couldn't find anything that made the loud sounds I needed. The small bells on elastic did not work for me. So I went with the big ones, but I had to space them out to make them work. Yes, we've awoken to the sound of bells jingling as he's having one. I was debating whether or not to post the video we made to show his doctors on this site. They have a variety of seizures, and they want to know exactly what he was doing so that his medications can be adjusted. They've even told other parents about our experience with the bells in the hopes that it will save their child's life and allow them to sleep through the night. It's heartbreaking to find your child helpless and dangling upside down from a bed during one of these seizures. These bell bracelets caught my eye on the internet, but they weren't quite what I was looking for. I took a chance and bought them anyway, and I'm glad I did! br>br>The bracelets arrived in good condition. They do make a loud bell sound when they jerk, as I had hoped. The bells are a good size, and the bracelet's length is great, and it can be adjusted with the velcro. Our son has never complained about being uncomfortable while sleeping in them, and he enjoys the variety of colors. Every night, I usually choose between blue and red. br>br>Our son's health is the only reason I'm writing to you. Is it possible that you or someone you know could benefit from these bells for the same reason? When someone has a nocturnal seizure, there is no device, alarm, or other means of alerting those who are sleeping.

My only caution is that the product is very nice. They were ordered because of a cute two-year-old girl. The photo description showed both pink and purple, and the year old girl was desperate for both. However, two oranges, two blues, and two reds were delivered on time. The colors are apparently chosen at random in pairs. So, if you have a little girl or boy who is obsessed with a particular color and can afford it, order the twelve-pack. There are two-packs in this set. Pink and purple are among the six colors available. I did so, and everything turned out fine, with the extras going to the music teacher.

If we're going to a big event, I like to have my nephew wear it. When there are large crowds, it is easy to become disoriented, and small children can easily slip from your grasp. When he drops my hand, I can hear his bells and know he's close by.

I gave one to a music teacher, who thought it was fantastic for her students. I also gave one to each of the Special Education teachers, who adored it. I also use them to draw the attention of my students.

It was too bad that it didn't fit anyone over the age of six, even on the wrist. The older children were also eager to jingle.
