Good, clear Udu sounds and great bass tones can be created by this instrument. There is a wide variety of sounds that can be produced depending on where and how Amplification of the sound is generated by the additional head, while slapping is facilitated by the thinner bottom of the udu. Water gives the sound additional effects, and you can add it to it for an enhanced There is no need for a different belt. It's the perfect size and weight. A clay model is not as breakable as a plastic It is important to realize that the udus are quiet instruments in comparison to most percussion instruments, so don't expect to play them at drum circles and hear them to make sassy tribal trip hop in a studio as part of the full percussion line. Recorded with a Shure PG57 and applying reverb (post-recording) in the DAW, it sounds great for this purpose. It seems that a lot of really talented players have been shown playing this model online. It is not realistic to expect that you will be able to play this and be as good as they are or be able to play like them. A small mic hole can be placed at the inside of the clip for use with a lavalier or lapel mic. The mic hole has a plug so it can be covered when there is no internal mic present. As soon as I use a small mic, I will update this review to discuss how it affected the I highly recommend this instrument for all the reasons stated above. The Udu is also a Djembe, and I play this more often than the Djembe.
It is easy for the head to lose pitch, With the help of a hairdryer, it is possible to restore its original appearance. This product should not be used in.
you enjoy hand drumming and would like to have different tones within easy reach, this is the device to get. (You should use a hand other than your dominant hand to tap and slap around your middle and neck) There's a sound hole to cup or slap that produces a wonderful deep tone along with a rawhide surface that can be struck at the center for a louder sound or tapped around the edges for a softer tone. The price is quite reasonable and the quality is quite good. If you get to it, don't make it too loud, so no one will disturb the house!.
In the past few years, I have purchased an LP 1400 C3, and now That tone is really nice. It has no tone whatsoever - I bought the LP 1400 C3 and was so disappointed to get it. It's just dead apart from when the sound hole is struck. The Meinl I got in its place was as good as the one I returned.
Ibo traditions have been performed for thousands of years, and this drum is very original in carrying the tradition forward. This music player has a good variety of tones (a lot of them) and is good enough to display when I am.
The drumhead is loose and there is no way to tighten it, but otherwise I like it.
The closest you can get to perfection. I agree with the majority of the description, except for some sounds that still sound I believe this would be great if it were ceramic. The little rawhide surface produces a variety of tonal combinations with other natural tones that are generated when the surface is hit. I love the music that is created when the rawhide is hit with the hole and the area between. I suppose you could think of it like background music for a movie.
The perfect instrument to keep in my backpack at all times. illustrates the incredible power of your microphone when combined with your digital camera.
