Product Description

The PO-14 Sub Bass is an extremely compact and incredibly powerful synthesizer that comes with multiple real synthesizer engines such as wavetable, FM, subtractive synthesis, and physically modeled strings.
You can add 16 punch-in effects like bit crusher, delay, and vibrato to this pocket-sized synthesizer to enhance your bass sounds.
BOTH PO-14 SUBS ARE FITTED WITH TWO TWEAKABLE PARAMETER LOCKS - The parameters of the PO-14 sub can be locked, while an automatic compressor and hardware limiter ensure there are no clips in the signal.
ANNULS HIGH AUDIO OUTPUT - This Teenage Engineering product utilizes a clever Silicon Labs EFM 32 Gecko MCU, Cirrus Logic DAC, and Knowles Speaker to generate high-quality audio
GET ON THE GO AND PICK IT UP! With the PO-14 Sub Bass, you can connect the unit with other Pocket Operators through its jam-sync function. A sync interface that uses audio pulses is also integrated into PO-14 so you can integrate it with third-party gear.

Questions & Answers

Is it possible to record your beats on the device? Or to save certain tracks or beats?

There is limited memory in the unit, which is a step sequencer. A recording can only consist of 16 patterns, each of which is made up of 16 steps (4 beats broken up A lot less than 40 seconds of music can be played at the default 80bpm. When the current pattern is playing, you can queue up another one, and it will repeat one pattern or a block of patterns forever, depending on how many you select. As you play the 40 seconds of music, you are not limited to just that set, and you can queue up another block while you are doing so. As a result, we can say- You won't be able to hear your patterns unless you record them using an external audio editor It is really only possible to perform live with the unit.

Are there any headphones you can connect to this?

If you use a 3.0, you are able to plug headphones in. The connector on the PO-type 5mm is The input jack on the sub is 14.

Would you be able to use a looper with this?

You can connect a 1/4 inch adapter and cable to it.

Does it have any way to be turned off without taking the batteries out, or does it require you to remove the batteries in order to shut ?

It is not technically possible to turn something off. You can leave your pocket operators in "standby mode" for quite some time, which means that the clock still works and the software still works Things settle down a little bit with the animations. It can be woken up by pressing any button on the remote Let's get back to making music again. It's supposed to be able to survive 2 years in standby mode, if I recall the manual correctly. It is not recommended that the batteries be taken out since the units reset their memory after the batteries have been taken out. To avoid any accidents, I also make sure "write mode" is turned off before placing them down.

The bass has to be there
5/5

It's the most limited TPK out of all, but that's not a big deal. This is a lot of fun to play with, a lot of fun to jam on, but not a great unit for hanging out with alone. In addition, this PO must be paired with another PO, such as This bass is played by 28 Robot, which is the lead guitar. POs are meant for use with the rest of the Pocket Operator instruments, so this review is mainly for those who have tried the other instruments. If you're more unfamiliar with the line I would advise starting with either the PO-105 or PO-123. Play 22 arcade games from 8 to 10 It's the PO-bit, or the bit chiptune It is equivalent to a P0 or 12. There are a lot of more complete drum sequencers, such as 32, that work I will now focus on the bass. The pros are The sound of thumping This pocket operator makes really awesome bass grooves. Other Pocket Operators have bass, but this one is designed specifically to make As I wore my good clothes - A pair of high-quality headphones and a pair of PO-style earphones in a few minutes I was making rocking tunes so much that I was dancing in my seat while I played 28 Robot. The fun just keeps on coming. Its MSRP is $10 less than POs, so the price is in line with its reduced function as a bass-only amplifier The only thing- As a whole. As with all of the other POs, may chain sequences and sync to other POs, allowing for a wide range of possible It has a mini drum sequencer in place of sound 16, so you can make complete drum sequences with it You could make full tunes out of this unit (or at least Drums and Bass). The cons are The monophonic sound. Another PO's drum machine can have up to four voices in addition to what they provide for There is only one voice for the sub's throbbing bassline, so adding a string of extra bass on the fly will just cut the current voice out. This limits live play options a bit, you can't very well harmonize this unit at all. In addition, like all PO packages, it includes a variety of options for effects and bending your notes - allowing you to play around with them. As compared to the other units, it is just limited and specific. As a whole You may need to purchase this unit along with any other PO you may have. The PO was hooked up with this, as I mentioned It was a synthesizer with a 28 Robot built in. My head bobbled and my feet tapped as I listened to the combination. If I were going to use the Robot, I would set the Bass to a good bassline pattern (maybe 3x rhythm patterns and 1x break) then jam out lead lines on it. The robot could be used to play a phrase and then I could switch to the bass to apply some live effects. I played my live set a couple times back and forth, and it turned out pretty amazing. If you're looking for a game that can compete for this price and ease of play, you'll be hard-pressed to find anything on the market. One Volca can cost as much as two Pocket Operators. Korg offers a similar line of products. The PO line is best pictured in the Bass. It is, of course, limited, but it does explain the PO line very well. It can't be used for many things. It's a bargain for a unit that allows for so much expression at such a small price. When you pair the Bass with a cheap PO (and do some YouTube research because the included manual is useless), you'll be making tunes that will set records in no time. A professional musician may quickly become frustrated by the limitations of a unit like the Bass, but to me, this is just fine. Thanks a lot. The fun part. If you want to invest time and money into a unit like the Volca or even advanced, or do you prefer a portable Pocket Calculator you can take with you on the train and use on your tray table, which requires much less time and effort? The Bass is my favorite Pocket Operator because I love it because of that. pop it out on the bus on my way to a destination, play with patterns for five minutes, and by the time I get home, I'm running to grab an audio recorder to record what I've done. It is awesome to see You can get one right now.

It would make a fantastic gift for any aspiring DJ
5/5

The 16th birthday of my teenage DJ was approaching, and I was frantically trying to find a decent and inexpensive gift. Here's what I found after doing a google search! His love for it is undeniable! Since I am only a mom and thought this was some sort of gadget, he was immediately able to recognize what this is because of Andrew Huang and was very enthusiastic, so that was a pleasant surprise The basslines are already a part of the music he produces and on road trips he makes sure to bring it along with him. Although he wishes it had more drum selection, such as snare and high hats, and a deeper selection of beyter drums, for the price I paid, there are no serious It is of course obvious that he is now interested in all of them. 1) Thank you to have given me such a great site. As far as I can tell, you cannot go wrong.

It's bass time! For my birthday, my girlfriend got me the Mega Man one and it has become a sort of addiction
4/5

As soon as I realized the Street Fighter sampler was a collector's item, I purchased It seemed appropriate that the pocket band should have a dedicated bass line as well, even though I had pulled great bass out of both. You should be careful to not fall into that rabbit hole as once you've bought a few of them, you could have gotten something nice without so much restriction. Although this is a studio companion, you will have a hard time finding an instrument that makes sounds like this for this price. The batteries and finger pinching buttons may not be ideal for stage performance, but one can't judge a book by its cover. There have been times when the acid bass I've pulled out has a similar sound Besides the funky deep sub tracks (sometimes it's hard to get the static out, but not impossible, and the l of low tones make it worth it Some days it is nice to look at a fi cat). It might seem like the drum machine is the cheesiest of all pocket operators, but it can be used on its own to make a jam, but I also recommend it as a backup instrument to any of the other pocket operators or It has a tiny interface that you can get lost in sometimes. Many functions require you to press two or three buttons at once, so that can be inconvenient. In conclusion, if you love electronic music and the notion of circuits making sounds that can be transformed into notes, these are hot!.

This is a fun game, but its design is poor
3/5

Here's a simple yet fun bass synthesizer that comes with a 16-voice polyphonic sound It has multiple patterns and a step sequencer. However, design decisions that hinder creativity are very common. One of the biggest limitations is that you can only play white notes (no flats or It has a drum-like effect embedded in it It offers little in the way of value for money. As it turns out, the drum has There is little use for the kit This is a very low score It has poor quality samples, no similar sound to a snare drum, and you can only play one sound at the same time. * Editing a drum sequence is equally In the Pattern, you ignore the sound you just adjusted carefully to play and put in the last time. In its place, drum sound number 8 with preset parameters will be inserted, and many people will need to change it to a sound they desire. If you have just modified a drum sound, you would naturally expect that the next one inserted would be like the one you just customized. However, you are still getting It might be a good idea to use a high-resolution monitor now When you try to lower the pitch of the hat sound to make it sound almost like a snare, you immediately realize that you can't do it. Due to the fact that you can only record pitch changes while the sequence is playing, it is impossible to adjust what each drum sound should sound like unless you move the knob at an exact speed Keep precision in mind Make sure to set the tempo to a very low bpm if you'd like to try it). Hence, the device is fun, but the user interface is so abysmal that you'll be asking yourself why the device is so frustrating. This kit includes If you need drums, Teenage Engineering suggests you buy another PO. This is the way you should proceed if you need drums. * It is true that later PO's have a.
