Questions & Answers

My own Yamaha multipad dtx lacks the pedal for this instrument. If you know where I can get one, please tell me. What is the name of the one you're referring to?

The pedals do not come with the system, but it is compatible with most pedals/foot switches (including Rolands).

Are there any USB ports that you can use to expand the number of outputs?

You should buy a Roland instead of this. I am on my second and the iOS app is a joke.

How does it work with the Macbook? Is it only possible to use the iPad?

I believe it works with Macs

How can I connect my iPad to my computer? Do I need an adapter?

I believe so. Separately, you will need to purchase it

Features to be proud of
3/5

Feel and dynamic of the stick are not as good as they should be. Cinematic orchestration is why we use this instead of live performances. Our studio works exclusively with the MIDI trigger capabilities of Pro Tools using an extensive library of sounds. The systems we offer are quick and feature the latest processing power You should not be concerned about lag. Keeping this in mind helps you understand this review better. The DTX was extremely smooth to use from a technical perspective. Despite this, sticking becomes a very challenging task very The possibility of a fast stick is close to non-existent. At best, the pad feel varies among pads and the pad dynamics are poor. The touch feature is somewhat more reliable. However, fast passages usually have skipped beats as if they are unable to keep up with the pace. If you can't beat the hell out of it, 32nd notes and faster are hit and miss unless you're willing to really pry the thing apart. In this case, we don't want to take part. I do not like the physical interface at all on this box, considering how good it is overall. I expected metal for this price, but I was disappointed. The device is made of plastic, which may not be all that bad, but I It would also be great if we had a silicon head here, but that won't be possible The rubber is punchy and lacking in What a bummer. While turned off, your arms can be hit with different sounds and feels on each of the pads. The heavier the stick, the better you'll be able to prevent this. It is generally safer to use nylon tips on a 2b than a 5b. In both cases, butt hits work well. Put an end to 7bs and lighters. Although I can't express my opinion on how well it works on a stage, it could be good for the production. It is quite hard for me to recommend it for other uses enthusiastically since I really wanted to love it.

I am very disappointed with the controller's functionality and use for my needs
3/5

The Mac 10 drivers seem to be unstable, which is very disappointing. The main reason I bought this was to use it as a midi There were several cheaper ones I tried and they were horrible. It is a pity that there are still driver and software issues, as the technical support was outstanding and awesome. In terms of the pads, they were too soft and sponge-like. Navigating in the menu was a real nightmare, and the manual was a joke. While I own the Yamaha 532K kit for the Yamaha 502, it's ok, but the DTX502TOUCH application for the iPad still has issues to this day. It would be great to have a drum pad controller that is portable and versatile. A good number of decent reliable drum controllers are hard to find these In terms of sound, the unit is excellent as it can be used as a standalone unit. Although they were outstanding, Andy and Ted from Tech Support were the only reason I gave it a perfect five.

Honestly, I can't get enough of it
5/5

impressed with the quality and variety (there are A recording) It is very useful to be able to layer and modify sounds. Since I programmed it as a set without pedals, I am using it as a set. One of the pads (HH, Ride) adds a bass drum when it is hit hard, so I can play bass drum and HH/cymbal with one instrument. Although the manual is not as great as it could be, there are plenty of Youtube videos that can help. When I contacted technical support with a question, they responded within 24 hours with a resolution to my problem. Note that (FYI- Here are the steps you need to follow to hook up your iPad Only page 13 of the manual contains design number 5). Despite the fact that I am able to rephrase Changes can be saved by opening it and saving previously made It was disappointing to hear the sound of a small drum amp I bought for the DTX, so I bought the Roland PM-850 instead Small rooms are perfect for practicing and playing music with this amplifier, with its 100W output and 80W output.

Percussion is a great solution for bands or orchestras who lack space or funds
5/5

There is nothing better than an electronic drum pad like this. It was primarily purchased for the timpani samples, making it possible for the percussionists to play a variety of instruments we would not be able to use at the community center where we play due to space and manpower constraints. As soon as we connected the timpani to an amplifier of significant wattage, we got very impressive sound. Some of our own staff who were initially outside talking to children asked me "when did we get new timpani?". It is great to hear them! After they walked into the rehearsal room they were floored to discover it was an electronic instrument!.

Add live drum sounds to your music with this popular program
5/5

My Yamaha DTX Multi Pad is one of the best musical equipment purchases in a long time. I read a lot of reviews on this and similar drum pads from other manufacturers and decided to take the plunge on this As a rule, I'm blown away by a presentation. With the user presets, the stock sounds are decent, although it lacks many natural sounding kits. Nevertheless, I was able to build several kits using samples I already have, such as roto toms, a Gretsch kit and a Ludwig kit. This is used to add more organic sounding fills on top of loops that have already been programmed to give my recordings a more natural sound. My home studio is now much more accessible when I play on these pads. The unit itself is very sturdy and well built. All in all, this was a very nice addition to my In the event that I lost it or it was stolen, I would buy it again without hesitation!.

Thank you for sharing it
5/5

I like it. Sound quality is good when using DTS. The product I purchased is working well for me. Ability to download and install new tunes and have the ability to play with hands, fingers, There is no need to explore much of how to operate and change the settings due to its portability. The software is easy to use after that. Connecting input audio and output headset and speakers, I sometimes find it difficult to adjust the volume control properly with the input audio and drum sounds being output. The overall impression is that it is very good.

Amazing
5/5

I am in love with it. My intention was to use this kit as a portable kit so I would not have to carry around my DTX 700s. With the addition of a hat and footpad, it's perfect for that purpose. As a result, I decided to record a CD with its ridiculously large number of cymbals and percussion and I I think it's well worth the money. I absolutely love the sound of this.

You're right, sir
5/5

This was the result of much research before I picked it up. You're doing a great job. Having a layout that feels natural is a good feeling for me. The interface is rather intuitive and a beginner can pick this up and quickly cycle through the 50 presets, however you'll need to get the full feel by going through the voice menus and creating Since I am tech savvy, I can navigate easily, but the manual is so vague that a begginer would have been forking out nearly 700 for a few generic presets, of which only a handful are actually useful. I already got the hang of it, but I am having a blast with this. One advantage is being able to set any kit to finger control just in case you have little ones in your care and feel like midnight slow jamming by the pale moonlight. I love it!.
