Yes, Roland is expensive, but if you want to be top of the line, you're going to have to pay through the nose for it. It doesn't make sense to me, but still hurts the wallet, although you do get a quality product which will last a long time. This is a very responsive device, but note that the position is not detected. One trigger is for the head, while one is You will have to shell out more money to obtain a PD-type snare that sounds like an acoustic snare The 140DS 14" Snare weighs 10 lbs. Normally, I would have gotten an acoustic set, but as I'm married, if I wanted the feel of one, I would just get an acoustic set. The marriage I've got is a good one. It should be done in all possible ways. That is by far the most incredible electronic drum pad I have ever played or seen. Amazing! This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I found it to be the perfect size and depth, and it was also thick and dense in all the right places. This is a stunning piece of fit and finish, build quality, and aesthetics. You think it's a gorgeous piece of high-tech music gear, but it's really expensive. It's amazing what this thing can do. To this day, every time I watch or play it, I am still blown away.
Pads that are in great condition. The mesh is fine after I cleaned it a little on the mesh.

I like the way the Roland pad feels. The new floor tom pad (replaces the PDX-* ) on a 5-piece Smaller sticks feel better with a larger pad than larger sticks with 8 or 10 inches. It is pads that do that.
Addition to my toolkit that has been long overdue.
It was delivered in excellent condition and arrived on schedule.
Despite my lack of drumming skill, my drummer loves it, and the sound is great under his sticks as well.
