The great thing about this purchase is that you can really make it yours once you start getting to know it. Although the presets are relatively basic, they offer a good overview of the sampling pads versatility and mechanics. My only reason for giving it four stars was that I could not load my WAV samples correctly, because I encountered an error in the software. This problem can be easily resolved if the SPD is installed You can record a sample and assign it to a particular pad using SX. Although the sampling pad is more of a live performance tool than a production tool, it's possible to use it as a production tool.
