Do I already have a kick stand of mylar , can I use that as a kick pad? Do you think the original will work if I replace it ?

It can work well if it is aligned properly and nice and tight to the rack bar, but it will work fine and a lot of people do it. As a result, the effectiveness of the program will not be the same The pad rubber pushes back like a floor stand to provide a sturdy feel.

After shearing the metal pad just below the pad twice on the Nitro kit, I had to replace the complete base. What is the difference between the construction of this and the other pad?

Nitro's base pad is a joke, and the rubber won't stay on. It has held up to the wear and tear I've put it through It took well over a year for me to find my footing.

What's the height of this kick pad? If it mounts on the rack, what's the height?

What kind of left-side clamp is included with all the pads? Should I mount them next to each other upside down if I want to mount them next to each other?

I am not sure what your question is. The mount plate should be on one spot on a round drum, so it should not go left and right it should rotate and be clamped down wherever it is needed. Our team will try to answer your question as best we can if you need clarification.

Kick pad is awesome! I can't wait to try it out! As a newcomer to kick drums, I just took the mesh kick drum pad for a test drive and am ecstatic with the touch and sound! I had been using the stock Nitro Kit kick pad, which is not only too big and bulky to accommodate a double kick pedal comfortably, it is also loud and noisy

The Alesis of It would be great if their drums were as good as their customer service! I really like this one! After a couple of weeks of using it (so about 10 weeks or more like 8 weeks of use since I still used the mylar kick for a while after ordering the mesh kick), it broke

The Alesis triggers seem to come out very quickly on mesh or mylar heads. I have only had to replace 4 pads so far, and have replaced 1 hi-hat pad with a metal pad This is a hat pad I had left over after buying the pro x hi-vis I never thought I played really hard. In decades of playing an acoustic kit, I never went more than a few bars over- A kick or tom head is used instead of snares or kicks. Unfortunately, Alesis has been excellent with returns as has Amazon when it comes to customer service. Otherwise, you might not be able to obtain replacement parts if you do not purchase an extended warranty and do not have Amazon Prime.

I couldn't get the original to work with DBL. Pedals for kicks. The pedals came completely assembled out of the box, so all I had to do was mount it to the You can start playing right away after plugging it in. It's amazing to see the difference! Missed triggers are not present. Timing is greatly enhanced by it as well. The purchase has so far been a very good one for me.

WOW, I replaced the snares on my Ion Drum rocker pad (Xbox) with these and they sound great. The speakers do not make any noise and are super sensitive and accurate. You have to play a little differently (not as loud) but the results are amazing! Considering that my drum rack is the SDK5, the mount (larger tube rack) is perfect. In addition to being toolless, the clamp is another nice feature that I had not recognized when I purchased it. When you zoom in on the images provided by the manufacturing company you can see there are a number of little dots (sensors).

At least the product is right. Even though it was a good price, the item wasn't at all what it was described as being. There was a janky-looking note in my mail There was only an 8" pad, not the 10", and also another style of pad, which made a big difference because I could turn the pad towards me with just a quick bend in my half-inch metal support arm. My guess is that someone ordered the 10", then returned the box with an old 8" and became a rock star. old switcheroo has happened again! A timeless classic. Someone in a management position with the resources to buy a tape measure would have gotten a glimpse inside. I doubt it will happen to other executives. The story is just a good one.

I find the pictures misleading because of the way they have them displayed. As far as the pads themselves are concerned, they are really good. The Alesis clamps are designed for slightly smaller diameter rack tubes and I have owned them for two years and have been pleased with them. However, one problem I have is that they rarely fit my rack tubes due to their design. Standard 1 clamps are not compatible with the clamps provided. It is a Gibraltar rack that measures 5 inches.

The drum of a Nitro kit that I purchased new in December is flawless and appears to be of high quality, however the clamp that came with it is pretty flimsy

There is a description of this product that states that it is compatible with most Alesis electric drum kits, including the DM10. that I bought new in December, and while the drum works well and appears to be of good quality, the clamp that came with it is too large to fit the arms of the Nitro kit, unless I'm missing some method of rigging this. Other than the warranty in a variety of languages, it didn't come with any paperwork. See photos I tried to make the mesh drum fit using the clamp that came with the factory snare. It doesn't seem to hold the drum very well, however.

I think it's an excellent addition. It's on the expensive side, but it's working great and letting me expand my set in a cost-effective way Although I am not a drummer (I have played guitar for 30+ years), I am learning the drums. I recommend this kick drum for learning the drums.
