Questions & Answers

The 14" was the size I ordered. It doesn't fit tightly onto my snare - there is a pretty good 1/8" of clearance Around the entire perimeter, there is a 1/8" gap. Using my measuring tape, I found that this product measures 13 3/4" on my scale. Is that OK?

I have to say that all of the Big Fat Snare Products leave a little clearance on the edge when I use them on my snare drums (14" Pearl Reference and DW Concrete). Thank you, and I hope it

Do you know what the knoch is ?

This makes it easy for you to grab that from

Do you think this would work on Tom? Getting the desired sound proves to be a challenge for me. Is there still a ring left over that I don't need?

Although these come in 13" and 14", it's doubtful if it can store more than that. These sizes are available in 14". Can you tell me what size your tom tom is? The tom you have may have a tough time remaining seated on a drum head if it is smaller or larger than the sizes I mentioned. BFSD with tambourine jingles can also be used as a cool effect on say, a 14" floor tom, but I personally do not think this would be effective on a

There is a huge difference when it comes to this! As requested by our drummer, I bought this for use in our church
5/5

My own experience as a rookie musician in the worship ministry leads me to notice the incredible difference that this donut makes in the sound. There is less unwanted reverb with a more solid sound. I truly find it more pleasant to listen to. The best part is, if you would like to have that reverb back for a specific song, or even for part of a particular song, you can simply lift the donut up and take it out, then put it back in again later on. The solution is so simple that it cannot get any easier. This is a highly recommended product.

I was on the lookout for that! I thought at first this was some kind of gimmick, but I am glad I purchased The drum head just sits on top of a small piece of plastic with a hole cut out in the middle
4/5

I had a ringing and echoing overtone previously, but it seems to be eliminated by this procedure. When you are on the pad, it muffles the sound slightly to some degree but that doesn't really matter because of the hole in the middle so you still get that good crack from your I'm therefore discovering sounds that I had never seen or heard It has a very deep sound without the wires, a very beefy thump like my previous snare lacked. I am sure this will work fine for you, no matter what style you prefer. The purchase would be repeated and I would recommend the product.

You can achieve dramatic tonal effects on your snare with this device
5/5

The BFSD is like using two separate drums. By placing it on the batter head, I was able to lower the pitch of my Gene Krupa, scoop the mids and tighten the (Sound Pure -Echo) bass slightly. Sound of a snare drum is recommended. As a recording engineer, I see BFSD as a useful tool for recording. This creates a gated sound on the drums. As a result, there is a slight reduction in volume. The BFSD also asks you to swing Moreover, I like that it gives a lot of emphasis to hot rods. For $20, you can get a different sound palette from the same drum. The best way to get your snare just right is to tune it first.

To make it sound like an 80's snare, it'll cost you a couple of bucks
5/5

As a result, I took a chance on this. A 20-something dollar snare to make it sound like one of the '80s? As soon as I saw it was not going to work, I knew it would fail. Oh my gosh, did I make a mistake. While I need to tune my snare, just slapping this thing on it drastically cut down on all the echo and ring it had, making it sound a thousand percent I look forward to getting some rock playing with this when I tune my snare. Good product. It does not seem to be made of cheap plastic. That's not 24 dollars for a piece of junk. This thing costs $24 but you know that you'll get an incredible sound out of your snare when it is mounted onto your snare.

I don't know
3/5

Rather than a gadget that can be lost, this is just something to get bent or damaged. It was expected that stick rebound would be reduced. Remo developed this idea many years ago and marketed it as 'E rings'. If you are taking the hoop off an old snare head, you can do it. This is also the case. In my case, I just cram everything in before I move on to a different topic Putting the two lugs in tune with the throw-in To turn off & to turn on Make sure your snare is fat and fatty. I'm gonna give it 3 stars and a half It is not something I would buy.

Almost perfect, but not quite
3/5

This synth delivers a rich, dry snare sound that is highly reminiscent of yesteryears. Although the finger hole was outlined in foam, the foam "weatherstripping" came off the moment the device was used. Is it possible that the heat from the delivery truck was the cause? Unpacking had already caused the foam strip to lift at one corner, and as a result, it will eventually slide away. I need to figure out what to use to glue it back together.

It should not be bent when you purchase it from the store
3/5

There's a good chance the product is It will remain a mystery to me. The one I received from this seller is bent, and so it doesn't lay flat. Unfortunately, I do not have time to return the book. On my way to the airport, I'll be gone for a few days.
