Those qualities aren't mutually exclusive. It's possible for something to be translucent and matte at the same time, or neither. Maybe you meant to inquire about the transparency vs. the opaqueness of the material. Or if it was a matte vs. a glossy finish?
Yes, there are two of these in the package.br>Abby
10 minutes on side A and 15 minutes on side B. It hasn't been broken up yet. There is only one track that continues.
These, on the other hand, are transparent. Also, it's a little darker than it appears in the photo.

I usually stick to black or yellow Serato vinyl when I'm getting the party started. But when I'm ready to throw a party, I have one trick up my sleeve. The audience starts whispering amongst themselves when I pull out the Red Serato discs (he's not going to drop the red vinyl, is he?). ) You're damn right, I'm with you. When I let go of the needle, bananas fall out of the sky.
The clear control vinyl was the one I went with. In Serato, it does exactly what it says it will. With my Gemini PT2000 mk2 turntables and Numark CC1 cart/stylus, I was able to use it. It really works. I like how clear it is because it allows me to see my Serato branded "butter rug" slip mats underneath. It's nice to know that if I ever get another cool slipmat, people will be able to see it because of the clear vinyl. A DDJ-2000 is what I use. Serato with SX2 and DVS. Overall, I give it 5 stars.
They work, that's all I can say. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that both vinyls are slightly convex/ concave, or bowled if you want to call it that. Basically, when side B is facing up, the vinyl back spins very easily, whereas when side A is facing up, the vinyl back sticks much more. I've read about a lot of other people who have had similar experiences. So I put B up for scratching and A up for mixing. I'm pretty sure this isn't done on purpose, and if it is, I'm not sure what to do about it. That is completely ridiculous. Assemble them in the same manner! Also, the grooves on one of the vinyls aren't dead center, so my needle moves back and forth in and out of the groove when I'm tracking it. It's a minor issue, but where is Serato's quality control? These aren't cheap, and they're not particularly difficult to press for a simple control tone. Apart from those two flaws, they are functional, and I am confident that I will purchase more.
When the album is on the slip mat, it appears even darker. Look closely at the photos; the color is transparent. The true color is grossly misrepresented. Buyer beware because it's nothing like what they're showing. Now, I found the real deal on ebay; what you see is exactly what you get; however, the price is twice as much, but the color is worth it. I bought the black serato vinyl from Amazon, which is the correct color, and I'm returning these.
It's serato control vinyl, and it's a good one. Which has always been a very good high quality time coded record. br> The product itself deserves a good review for its dependability and sound quality. The only reason I gave it a one-star rating was because of this. I had ordered purple vinyl and had twice received the incorrect color.
Colors will vary, as they do with all pressings. But that's part of what makes Serato vinyl so cool! The spindle holes, on the other hand, were far too large and should not have passed QC. Years of deejaying have taught me how to cover the gap in the spindle with strips of tape or stickers. Yes, it solves the problem, but nothing beats a brand new pair of Serato vinyl with no flaws. As a result, this batch received three out of five possible stars.
As a Christmas present, I gave them to you. If you are familiar with records, particularly serato, you are aware of their high quality. It does have a luminous quality to it. It does need to be in light first, and the glow lasts for a while. My brothers are DJs, so these are ideal for when the dance mode is turned on at a wedding. br>Remember to spend some time in the light first.
The records accomplish exactly what they set out to do. They send a time-coded signal to your turntables, allowing your serato DVS system to work with them. It's simple to set up, convenient, and almost (almost) as good as playing real records, and it's given me access to GBs of digital music that I can now play/control using the turntables.
