It is very affordable. You can use the platters and basic features of the CDJ like a top notch club cdj. The perfect way to prepare for your club gigs and practice at home. As far as Rekordbox is concerned, the 850 also works well. Please read the following before making a decision. It is also possible to access preset cue points and loops immediately. Pre-processing is also used to create the waveform If you export tracks through Rekordbox, they will be loaded. A superbly designed piece of equipment. Especially if you live outside of the States, make sure you are aware of the The US plug point voltage is lower than that in Europe, so I had to purchase a voltage converter. You will blow your unit if you do not use a voltage converter.
Only issue is the 850's do not come with a manual. I switched from an 800mk2 to a 900mk2. Now that we have the USB drive, we can save tons of time. Discs no longer need to be burned, and CD cases no longer need to be carried. I'm glad you like it. There is only one complaint with the 850s, they don't have the link function that the 200 and 900 models It means you need to connect two USB sticks instead of linking one for mixing. The rest of the time, there are no problems.
It is easy to use and has It is one of the best players in my opinion, I never had any problems using it, they offer many options, and the best part is that you can play them from a USB drive, from a laptop, from a cd player, you name it.
I am very pleased with the product and the 5. 0 out of 5.
Pioneer has never fixed the bugs, nor has it updated the firmware. In certain areas like the menu search, the scrolling is very poor, and the navigation is too cheap, I understand this is what you get for an 890$ player, but if I did it over, I would save up and get a 2000 or a 900 Nexus. Furthermore, I own 2 CDJ 2000s and since I got these, I hardly use the 850s, even if mixing with 4 decks is cool (I have the DJM900) but navigating your tracks on the s***ty screen of the 850 is painful. Thank you so much for reading my experience. I hope I explained it in a clear manner!.
