Although I am very satisfied with my CDM4000, it does not display song titling, folders, or any other information relating to the track(s) so you have to use your headphones to search for songs while you listen to.
bought this unit for the purpose of playing my CDE collection, and I have not encountered any issues. As I become more familiar with the USB features I must say that they work and I am enjoying the.
It's still a valuable mixer for a beginner, since its dual CD backup is very useful. There are many inputs for plugging in a computer or flash drive, but so far I've only connected a tablet. The CD player seems to be susceptible to a brief freeze when drops hit the table, but seems to hold up just fine to physical bumps.
The Gemini CDM4000 is not a good buy. The first one I received failed right out of the box. I called Gemini, and they texted me a return label for the defective product. A week later they sent me a brand new replacement it worked to some extent, but did not appear to be able to read When I called Gemini to try and solve the problem, I did not get any closer to solving it. As a result, deck #1 is developing a new problem. As a result, I'm about to try my warranty to see if they can resolve the issue. However, following the first Gemini CDM4000 failure, I bought a better and different system, which works fantastically, and planned to use the Gemini CDM4000 as a back-up. In the current state, it doesn't work enough to be a beginner's DJ system. It might work for a home CD player, but it is far from adequate for a user who is just learning.
Bought it for him and he was pleased with the purchase. There were no problems using the buttons or features, and I am very satisfied with the application.
