WITH A DSP and audio processor onboard, the Teenage Engineering OP-Z offers up to 48kHz/24bit resolution and 115dB dynamic range with its onboard Analog Devices Blackfin 70X DSP and Cirrus Logic audio processor. Sample packs are available in 16 different versions (each with 24 samples). It also has a built-in microphone, so you can sample the sound directly in the unit.

This device offers upgradeable effects, including delay, reverb, bit crush, and distortion. It also has a visual control panel for instant access to all functions. With an external interface, OP-Z and an external interface can be used to control the DMX light and 3D graphics sequence.

THE OP-Z HAWK AND APP LET YOU CREATE MUSIC VIDEOS DIRECTLY - App and hardware are compatible with iPhone, iPad, Mac computers, and Android OS (beta). Video playback can be sped up or slowed down, the color filter can be modified, and the zoom angle can be changed.

FAST, EASY AND EXPRESS 3D ANIMATION - OP-Z offers Videolab and full Unity 3D integration (github links available). Create your own unique visuals using OP-Z by exporting a videopak and placing it in the app. There are now Mega Man videopaks or Street Fighter videopaks available from Teenage Engineering.

Added an edit Amazon has refunded me my shipping charges as well as the purchase price even though I never heard from the seller. It will be impossible for me to purchase anything from this seller again, but Amazon's customer service is excellent. You can always rely on them to resolve your problems. Please read *Edit 1 out of 5 stars is now my rating. Despite returning the item, I was told over a week ago that the seller had received it. My contact with the seller was unsuccessful and Amazon also contacted the seller, but I haven't heard back and there has been no refund for the defective product that To avoid purchasing anything from this seller in the future, I will take care not to do so. The first time Z was brought out of the box, it was bowed. The return was also troublesome as I usually just have to bring the product to the UPS store and they scan the A loss of $600 on an item is not acceptable to me. It was even worse because I returned the item due to it being defective. I really wanted to love it because there is nothing else like it on the market, but I cannot justify spending $600 on something of such low quality. I've read about people returning theirs for a new one only to get one that was even worse than the first. I can't afford to keep taking risks if I have to pay so much for the.

As stated by the OP I am still impressed with how cool Z feels, though its quality feels cheap. Because the case material is porous, it quickly stains, and you'll ruin it in no time. You still don't seem to care about me. This is one of my favorite posts.
