Questions & Answers

Which DAW would be the best to hook this up to?

You would have to connect this to your mixer using an analog input if you have a Behringer mixer Line-in for the channel strip or receiver or stereo/mono input for the receiver or receiver two An RCA input track is provided. The Behringer Q302usb mixer has main outs (red and white RCA jacks) that can be chained to the monotron via an RCA to 3 connection. A monotron can be connected to the mixer using either a 5.56 mm stereo cable or a connector, then the monotron's headphone output can be fed into another RCA input on that mixer, or into an RCA 2-input on an alternate mixer. Put in a track. In addition, if your Behringer mixer does not have 1/4" jacks, you will need a data cable from the Monotron to the mixer. There isn't any way to bypass Monotron's 3. Basically, you will need a cable, or an adapter, to hook up. 5.25 mm stereo jack to either a 3.25 or 4.25 mm stereo jack. You can use a 5 mm jack, a 1/4 jack, or a RCA jack.

Could you tell me what cable I need to hook it up to an amplifier? As well as what kind of microphone did you get?

Using a number of 3, it uses. An input and output jack with a 5mm diameter (like the one on a phone's headphone/aux cable). You will need 2 converters from that to 1/4" if you want to attach it to studio gear. There's a little bit of spacing between the jacks, so it might not fit if you're hooking up something like that It might be better to use a guitar delay pedal or some other delay designed for 1/4" input.

Anyone know of a synth that has basically the delay and the duo built in?

So if you're looking for a monosynth with dual oscillators and a delay effect, I'm pretty sure you can't find anything close to that under a few hundred dollars. It is possible to find a used microKorg, which is digital and has four voices, as well as effects such as delay, for just a wee bit over two hundred dollars. In addition, I can't think of an analog delay that includes a built-in delay. Though you may be able to find a good deal on a cheap Behringer delay pedal.

Despite its small size, this device poses a serious threat
5/5

The size of the object is the size of an adult hand, however, it remains Even though I have only dabbled in this kind of thing up until today, I was skeptical when I looked into it Nevertheless, if you hit the keys in the right sequence and with the right order, you will open the portal that allows you to connect to S'ngai Bra'h Nak. As I had a partner that assisted me with this project, I recommend you do the same, just in case the project does not go well. It also has a built-in danger factor of ten and can open a lot of portals even though it is small and compact.

This is an enjoyable introduction to analog synthesis and a surprisingly capable gritty-sounding synthesizer It is space-based As someone with a classical piano background and an itch for analog synth noises, I purchased the Monotron Delay in order to create noises that sound like trash
5/5

It's a good idea to familiarize myself with the basics of synth before deciding to invest in a more complex instrument. My Duo is also delayed, but the delay is too much for me It's a lot more fun that way. Do not let its appearance fool you it's not a toy for children It is a piece of hardware that can easily produce some of the filthiest, grittiest, and dystopian space-escape scenes A trash-filled dumpster One of the most extraordinary machine sounds you have ever heard. You can have a lot of fun exploring the soundscape, and the machine gives you a lot of freedom. Having a simple array of controls is more of a benefit than a drawback in that it allows you to build a mental model that is familiar to you for everything you do. *By itself, it produces some fun sounds, but you'll likely tire of them pretty quickly. It really shines if you pair it with another instrument that can provide There isn't really a way to play a melody on the ribbon synth because it does not have a discrete scale or scale variations, although you can always add a Monotron that does have Running my normal 88-note tone with it is my favorite way to jam with it I have run my friend's sequencer through it, depending on how the sequencing system does it. I've also been running my key piano through it, with the delay portion acting as a filter over top of the piano sounds, and adding the LFO for auxiliary cosmic noise as well. You can control the loop with a keyboard, and the feedback loop keeps you on your toes, as it gives you a rhythmic stimulus and lets you achieve some fun effects. One thing that gets annoying is the amount of base noise - you don't want that. In spite of the fact that you can tweak the controls to return to a clean sound source when running through the Delay, there is no way to keep the same sound It would be nice to have a nice sounding output in contrast. However, I guess that is not the intent of the delay. As the LFO ray flickers, you can open or close the cutoff knob to adjust the wave length It morphs into a rocket blast that blasts a slow burn into an alien atmosphere as gun fire trapped in the feedback loop reaches a climax. I painted the dial indicators white to make them easier to see, as it's hard to see the indents on the dial. Battery life is excellent. For input and output, you will need to provide your own cable. For simple stuff like messing around, the onboard speaker is fine, but with a subwoofer it's more fun.

The sound of flying saucers can be produced by this synthesizer
5/5

In the demo video for this product, you can hear and see how this sound effects synthesizer works and what kinds of sounds it can produce. Once you connect the output of the receiver to a guitar amplifier and turn the volume up, your neighbors will swear they heard a UFO land in your yard. It's a good idea to turn it off after the UFO takes off and disappears into the sky, just before you call your neighbor to ask him or her if they saw it. This warning applies Unlike other types of video equipment, this one does not capture footage of any UFOs that There is a built-in speaker in the unit, but headphones can also be used. students of synthetic sound generation who are just starting out.

It was so tempting not to stop using it and only quit when the lunch break approached! In the beginning, let me say that I have owned a KORG Monotron (original) for many years (since they first came out) and have always appreciated the flexibility of using such a small instrument for so many types of synth sounds
5/5

This new Monotron Delay has so far exceeded my expectations, even though I have only used it for a few hours. When I first got the unit, I had a little bit of trouble getting it to work. The sound was almost nonexistent, and I was worried I had a defective device. When I adjusted the volume all the way up, there was no sound. When I tried again there was no sound. Even after changing the (included) batteries for known good ones, the light still doesn't work. Through adjusting the settings, I realized that the cutoff knob needed to be adjusted, as it was stopping the sound from coming through. The most common setting produces sound with the volume half way up. Once I got it working, I didn't want to stop using it, and I would only stop using it when it was time to go to This is something that I will likely keep doing until I figure out some way to make it sound even better.

There is more fun than you should be able to have for this price
5/5

It is a lot of fun using the Monotron Delay, and I see how I can use it in many When I don't have time to use it, I can toss it in my purse and noodle around with it I love that it takes up almost no space, which is perfect. I use it as an FX instrument when I jam. Adding it to a mix adds sci fi or other sorts of sounds with a unique sound. It can also be used to add a delay effect to an instrument for a small and affordable price - amazing for adding some flavor. A Volca or similar instrument in which you already have a 1/8" jack would be easier to deal with than a pedal effect. But here's the downside The delay isn't a pristine digital effect. Although it's not perfect, it has some gritty elements and higher pitches will die off over time instead of remaining untouched. There is no other explanation really - it's by design Often times you can find good digital effects elsewhere or even on your computer, but this is intended to have a distinctive sound that is similar to When you dial in your favorite sounds, you can even turn it into a weird type of drum machine, repeating percussive sounds per measure or quarter note, depending on how you set the interval. You can also alter the pitch, as with a tape delay, by you turning the time knob while the loop plays. This yields different effects based on what you're playing. I consider it to be the best pocket instrument on the market.
