Questions & Answers
Please let me know if the neck plates of the Fender guitar and bass are the same size.
We believe that this neckplate will fit your guitar with no issues. If you are concerned, go ahead and measure the center to center hole spacing on your guitar The two can be compared if you like.
As part of the plate are the screws.
I have never seen these with a variety of screw sizes before *br>All 4 screws in the package were the same size and, to be honest, I never measured them, I just used the screws that came with the bass already.

Metal and screws with a thin profile. If that is originally made by Fender, it is worse than what it is on the guitar, back A thick back plate and chunky screws are the hallmarks of the original Fender Stratocaster. I would advise you not to buy this item as the screws were made of a thin, lighter material, and were much smaller than original screws, rendering them useless. There are pictures of the product on this site. Look at the Fender Logo stamping that shows through the plate. The thinnest thing you've ever seen! It is amazing to see how small those Since the holes they are inserted into are larger than the screws, they are useless if you are replacing! Please take precaution!.
There were a lot of reviews on this plate stating that it Many poor reviews are caused by unreasonable customers, according to me. The following is TRUE, however, in this particular case. It was time for me to replace the neck plate on my old Stratocaster because it had corroded. I noticed that as soon as I tightened the screws, the corners bent inward (see pictures). As I stepped away from the old plate, I removed it and replaced it with the new one. There are some Squier neck plates that are thicker and I have some of those. We are unclear as to why Fender would sell such a poor quality product.
For the Fender Mustang I'm restoring, I got this to match the vintage appearance of the guitar. There were four screws included in the Fender packaging. The only thing that is similar to a genuine neck plate is the "F". The first thing to note is that it is significantly thinner at only inches. A comparison between a file at "056" and an original file The number 78". In addition, there is no counter chamfer for the oval head screws for the holes that are cut straight. of this adds up to an unattractive and cheap-feeling part. I expected more from an actual Fender part that claims to be made in the USA.
There is no doubt in my mind that this guitar is absolutely gorgeous now! Only one small thing stands in the way. There was still a "Squier" plate on the back. In spite of the fact that this is an insignificant detail, it just didn't feel right, especially since Squier was largely gone. Now we are at the present This "F-" arrived in the mail and I installed it Neckplate with the logo of the Fender guitar. The last little spice was the final link in the chain. There's a mirror in it I like how shiny it is and how awesome it looks And, of course, it does its job as the plate that keeps the neck screws in place. You've got a great style. A negative review is somewhat accurate in one way, but not entirely. In comparison to the ones that come standard on Fender guitars, this plate is a little thinner. Despite what others stated, I found the plate to be of high quality and not at all a cheap piece of junk. I actually bent the plate however I could to get a good fit. Even when I tightened the neck screws as tight as I would comfortably have been able, it refused to budge. There is a lot of metal in it, and it looks stunning. Despite the fact that the majority of reviews are 5 stars, it does not mean that it is a bad product. The fact that nearly every review is 5 stars should suffice to demonstrate this. now and then, a product comes out that is a dud. I highly recommend this product!.
A thin film forms on the screen. The MIM P bought this for me This is bass. The stock plate without a logo in the package appeared to be thinner than the new one. This is a definitely thinner shirt, as others have noted here. As well as being lighter, it weighs about 10 grams less. A few corners of the surface became dimpling when the screws were tightened. As soon as I can, I will return the junk and put back the stock plate.
It would have been nice to have You don't need to care about quality unless you just don't care. The piece is so low quality that I would never mount it on my instrument. I opened it up but was not impressed. As this is a Fender product and made in the USA, it is truly perplexing that they are shipping here. It is not in people's interest to save a nickel by buying Fender USA. Those who have noted the thickness noted that it is only 0 millimeters. It is . 056" (measured), which is very low for a standard screw hole. The screws do not have an angle. There is a slope to the surface As soon as you look in the mirror, it looks like a circus mirror, with the corners distorted even before touching. Is there anything to be done? Get something of good quality, something you can easily find on the internet, instead of the "F".
Compared to the overseas neck plates which were being made before Fender began making these again, F stamped neck plates made by Fender are much better quality. It has a better finish than the MIM stock plate and it's thick and as thick as Fender's plate. This is a non-returnable purchase A few years ago, Fender made a neck plate with F stamped on it, but it had a much smaller diameter and pitted steel. Stylish and made of quality steel, these Fender plates are a great addition to your vehicle. Your company makes these again, Fender, so thank you.
As far as thickness is concerned, these are not as thick as My new plate was identical to the one I received in every respect (except for the serial number on the 1973). Additionally, it fits perfectly on the 1985 squier jazz bass that I am looking to redo, although I had to use the original screws because they were a bit larger, but it still fits It was great on both the Squier and my ‘73. The squier has the little black plastic pad that goes between the body and the plate. I also tried it on a frankenfender Strat without the pad and it worked well. It is true that some companies don't even use a neck plate and just use threaded sleeves. In particular these days, the ones that say "Corona" on them are much more difficult to find. But this will do the job just fine.
