Excellent value for money. This is a low-cost option. than- This tongue drum is far better than anticipated for the price! It's small (I put a penny on it to show how small it is), but the sound is quite loud, and the tones are quite pleasant. The tuning is also fairly precise (I measured it with my guitar tuner - I didn't expect perfection, particularly on the highest note. ) Overall, this is a fantastic deal. Mine came with two mallets, four finger drumming rings (all of which were too big for me), and a nice velvet pouch. The tongue drum appears to be well-made and sturdy. I've wanted one for a while but have been put off by the cost - At this price, I couldn't say no (other members of the family enjoy playing with it as well!). ) I'm glad I was able to obtain it!.
If you choose the cheapest option, you will be disappointed. It arrived quickly and with all of the necessary accessories. I'll give it two stars just because of that. Fortunately, I purchased a new hand drum from a different manufacturer that has 11 tones and is larger. and a huge difference in sound quality that isn't just due to size. This one is so out of tune that two tongues sound nearly identical, but one is slightly off! However, no notes match when comparing the C scale to the other larger tongue drum mentioned, implying that each tongue has missed the correct C scale pitch. br>br>Because they're so cheap, the trip to Kohl's and the time it takes to get back is almost not worth it. My two-year-old is going to bang on it. However, as she has demonstrated, she is a musically gifted individual. I despise giving her such a bad instrument to begin with. She also managed to get the rubber ball out of the mallets in a timely manner. not good. It's now gone. br>br>However, others may not have had these issues (hence the near 5-star rating). I'd recommend looking elsewhere for a reasonable tongue drum if my review is recent, but if it's not, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Even at this price, it's not a good deal.
The drum is one of my favorites. Unfortunately, it was clear that the package had been returned. I was a little let down. It already had stickers on it, but they were in the wrong places. It was probably returned because it didn't sound right when it was played with them in the room. Everything is fine now that I've repositioned myself.
Starting to learn is both inexpensive and simple. It's an excellent value at $7. It has the sound of small bells. br>It includes: Instrument, carrying case, songbook, sticks, and four black rings for hand play are all included. The quality is excellent, and it is ideal for children. Just keep the rings out of reach of the children.
The only thing I don't like about it is that the numbers are just little peel-off stickers. So, if you play songs by numbers, you might as well write them down with a permanent marker on your body. Because I have a two-year-old who enjoys peeling stickers, those were an immediate no-no, but the instrument itself is fantastic.
I saw a handpan on YouTube, but it's not a handpan, but it'll do for this price. This was purchased. This morning, I had music playing along with other artists, and it wasn't too bad. I'm going to put money into a real one. It's pricey, but for some reason it's calling to me.
For each of my children, I purchased three tongue drums from various manufacturers; this one was for my three-year-old. He enjoys it and can play with his brother and sister while doing so. It's not too loud for an apartment complex, which is exactly what I wanted. I do have to hide it from time to time because he won't stop playing it.
Sounds that are lovely. It was also a big hit with my husband. It's a game that my grandchildren enjoy when they visit. The other night, I even used it to put them to sleep. You will not be dissatisfied with your purchase.
