The tuner keeps the guitar in tune, but the bridge must be installed manually. My review is on the delivery portion and not on the product itself because I cannot comment on how the instrument itself is as good as it is portrayed to be as it arrived in poor condition from incorrect packing. Since it was my first instrument ever, I was discouraged by the sight of it, and now have to look up how to restring a bow since the bow was broken and the hair was missing. The bridge was also not mounted, and the strings hung to the side. Tune the bridge after it is set up.
The quality of the Viola is exceptional. In my classroom, I use this device, and I love the sound. With the Viola, you can not only keep it in a nice case, but also use the The price I paid for this item makes me very happy.
