We invested in a lifetime warranty. I'm not sure how long the original warranty lasted. The cost of going longer was very low.
It does come with a carrying case.
The factory was contacted to order fine tuners. I wore them as well.

I really wanted her to have a good backup violin for her high-end primary violin. She's declared it to be on par with the primary violin. As a musician, I'm not in her league, and I'm certainly not a violinist, but what I'm hearing appears to be full and rich. Loud too. We're extremely pleased with our purchase!.
This violin was purchased for my wife, who had been a violin teacher for many years and wished to resume regular playing. We were blown away by the violin's craftsmanship and sound quality. It has the tone and volume of a model that costs a lot more! Our purchase has made us extremely happy. This book comes highly recommended.
The sound is very rich.
It's something she really enjoys.
Even on my other violins, the bow produces a robust, full-bodied sound.
The violin is absolutely stunning, and the sound is incredible.
