8" X 1" X 3" is the size. 5". You could try measuring your Otto Link hard rubber mouthpiece to see if it will fit in the pouch. Alternatively, you can look up the dimensions of the hard rubber Otto Link mouthpiece on Amazon and compare them to the dimensions listed here.
For that mouthpiece, it could be a little tight. It was used by my son as a tuba mouthpiece. It was also a tight fit for that.
br>I bought several of these to use with my "tuba" mouthpiece. A little on the pricey side. The pouch, on the other hand, is of good quality. The zipper is good, flexible, and slightly spongey due to the protective barrier. I looked up your 5 cent mouthpiece on the internet. The pouch for the Sax mouthpiece has been purchased by a large number of customers. br>This appears to be a good match for me. The pouches appear to be very durable, and I believe they will provide you with many years of protection. br>br>I hope this information is useful. I ordered one, and it works perfectly. It'll come in handy if I need to take both the mouthpiece and the reed to the music store in case they want me to try out one of their really expensive horns.
Selected User Reviews For Baritone Saxophone Neoprene Mouthpiece Pouch with Zipper Closure - Black, Model N277
I have an extra neck for my baritone, and I keep the neck I'm going to use and the mouthpiece in a bell-fitting combination pouch - As a result, I was unable to find a suitable location for the additional neck - I was looking for a mouthpiece pouch until I came across this one. Because my contoured case has no interior space for accessories, it lives in the outside accessory pocket. With this neoprene-lined bag, you'll be able to protect yourself from the elements. I believe that carrying the neck in this manner is safe. My baritone (Yanagisawa) has a short neck that fits perfectly in this pouch. Most new baritones have similar small necks, so this is the best option if you're looking for a baritone neck or mouthpiece pouch.
This is a fantastic pouch, and I have a number of ProTec products. br>br>I'm using it as a tuba mouthpiece, and I give it four stars for that reason. Given the weight of my mouthpiece, which is a standard concert, as well as the padding of the case - This is a mouthpiece that is better suited for woodwinds. Most trombone and euphonium mouthpieces might be too large for it. It has a convenient open side compartment for storing spare reeds. br>
All- All in all, a fantastic piece of work.
I own several of these and use them to transport euphonium mouthpieces on a regular basis. The material is stretchy and has a bit of padding to it. In normal use, this is more than enough to protect the mouthpiece from dings and scratches in the accessory compartment of an instrument case. Dropping the mouthpiece from a great height onto a hard surface is probably not a good idea, but there's no reason to do so. The zipper is well-made and functions properly. When it needs to be cleaned, I've discovered that I can wash it in the sink or even throw it in the washer with a load of laundry. What a great product!.
But I didn't use it for what it was designed for. I'm a magician who performs the "3 Shell Game" every now and then. This is the ideal size for storing my three (poly resin cast) walnut shells, as well as a few plastic peas for the game demonstration. There's even a small pocket on the back of the case, which I've found to be very useful. br>br>I understand that this isn't a typical application or review of the product. However, if anyone out there is wondering if this case would be suitable for the purpose I use it for, or for a similar purpose, I'd appreciate it if you could let me know. Then you've found the solution.
There is a lot of space. The security appears to be adequate. Because I haven't been able to find a bari mouthpiece and neck pouch that I like, I'm using one for a neck. It won't quite zip up with a neck saver installed, but it's close enough. It will fit fine without the neck saver.
I also purchased a trumpet mp, which I keep in my gig bag, but in a different color.
This pouch is the ideal size and weight, with enough padding to protect the mouthpiece from dings while in his backpack. Given the price of a new mouthpiece, I would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.
Now that Pro-Life has gained traction, The pouch is simply too big for trombone mouthpieces, so Tec has combined their trombone and saxophone pouch designs or expanded their original trombone pouch size to accommodate saxophone mouthpieces. I wished that Pro- For this pouch, Tec would return to their smaller (but excellent) original design.
