Questions & Answers

It will fit the Yamaha 5c for tenor, won't it?

No, it doesn't fit on Yamaha 5C The more I played with it, the worse it became.

It's impossible to know these dimensions with any degree of accuracy. A package of 8 x 4 x 1 is equal to $9. A 2 inch diameter?

The method they used to measure that is unclear. You can tell by the shape and size that it fits a tenor sax, black plastic, mouthpiece.

Ligature is good, but susceptible to damage during shipping
3/5

If you are just getting started on the saxophone, this ligature is perfect. My original intention was to buy this ligature as a cheap backup when I switched from Alto to Tenor sax. I suppose the package arrived on time, but Amazon had decided it would be a great idea to ship this extremely thin metal piece As a result, it was crushed horribly. The ligature I had been looking for from Amazon didn't make it and I went to a local music store and bought it. Afterwards, it worked perfectly fine and I was able to play my tenor well. In my opinion, here are my suggestions It is likely that any music store nearby has this exact ligature or one similar to it, so don't buy it from Amazon or other shipping websites. This ligature is one of the cheapest to start with, so you shouldn't use it on Amazon or any other shipping websites.

As good as you would expect for the price
4/5

This Yamaha YAC 1611 Lacquered Brass Tenor Saxophone Ligature is inexpensive and does the job as it is intended to do, which is to hold the reed. This ligature uses two screws which can be a bit cumbersome when it comes to holding the mouthpiece and twisting it on the neck. I used mine for a few months, then upgraded to a single screw one.

The quality of the picture is not great
3/5

The system works well, but the construction is poor. In its original form, it was very misshapen, and I had to re-shape it with the mouthpiece It has to be formed. There is a lack of smoothness in the screws. However, considering how cheap it was and how well it fits the 5C Yamaha mouthpiece, it's not so bad. The best mouthpiece available at a low price.

The tenor saxophone ligature is made from brass
3/5

The paper was very thin and of poor quality, but I could use it for my work. In my case, it was returned.

It's a nice product, my daughter is unsure about it, and she told me she would prefer a different material, but she loved how well it worked

There are no words to describe how cheap this is! As a result, it arrived flattened like a pancake, flimsy and cheap

There is no other configuration I prefer as much as this classic double screw configuration.

It is of good quality
5/5

The ligature is of high quality. Despite the fact that people tend to spend too much on ligatures, this is the one I recommend.
