Questions & Answers

Using what threads does the tigtening mechanism operate?

There is a thread on the gold-colored comb There is no color to the pins in the photo to the left, but the nut tightens the ligature by screwing it on. It should be helpful, I hope. I continue to use this ligature as my favorite.

Compared to standard Rovner, this is significantly better
5/5

In the past, I have played semi-pro football Over the course of 30 years, I have never given much weight to ligature hype since I worked professionally in a day job. When I was in high school, I auditioned for a role in a half-hour movie There were more than a dozen different ligatures priced from $20 to $100, and I was less than impressed It was the only one I never sent back, but it had been sitting in my closet for so long that I had never opened it. The piece I was playing is an old Claude Lakey alto piece. I developed my sound to my liking by playing a standard Rovner tune on the alto. It basically just took me putting the new Rovner on again, using the heaviest weight insert (which was already in it) and flipping the flaps up so that the metal was no longer in contact with It's obvious that there has been a change. Although my sound was less muffled, I did not feel There are no changes to my control with this new Rovner, but I have a notably greater dynamic range compared to the old model. With this lig, I feel like my tone quality is better when I play loud. Despite my belief that most lig differences are imaginary and I'd never pay $100 for one, I have to admit that this lig has made a huge.

Rovner ligatures are the best
5/5

I've used them for 20 years or so now. They have always been my favorite, if for no other reason than their convenience. However, I wasn't confident a ligature would really make all that much of a difference in tone. I thought I could live without a Versa until I tried one. For my alto, I found a Versa at a reduced price so I thought I would give it a go. The difference was absolutely amazing to me. By making my alto tone fuller, brighter, and brassier, I was able to produce a more pleasing sound. My searches for a long time have been rewarded with this. Playing a Yanagisawa 7 metal mouthpiece, which I built myself. While I've always enjoyed the mouthpiece, I have felt it was lacking in some way. It was truly astounding how a ligature could have made such an impact on my mouthpiece. I honestly didn't expect it would be so noticeable. The tenor sax I recently got is a brand new one. This time around, I opted for a new Rovner Versa ligature to go with the mouthpiece setup. This melody sounds great, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. I am not disappointed in the outcome. With the Versa, you can set up the instrument in a number of different ways to generate slightly different sounds. As for the "flaps" I leave them tucked into the sides, and I use the metal insert that originally came with The configuration I have chosen works the best for me. I had tried a few others, but this one worked best for me. I mentioned above it was slightly brighter and brassier than my previous Rovner. In order for the ligature to "break in", it takes a few hours of play. As you listen, you will hear a bit of a smoothing out in the tone. As well as blowing freely, it seems to be lighter. The Rovner Versa ligatures have a high degree of flexibility and precision A quality and long-lasting relationship These items last a long time, are flexible, and are easy to operate. The most important thing, though, is that they make my sax sound fantastic.

ANY LINE OF FORMULA CAN CONTAIN THE MOST VARIABILITIES
5/5

This has been my favorite wallet for a long time. This is the piece I use on my Claude Lakey HR mouthpiece. This is both for the Alto and for the The Metal Tenor mouthpiece I am using is also custom-made. We found that no plates or flaps make the reed more resonant (to the guy who says that it is irrelevant which ligature you use, try changing the configuration) and record yourself (not with your cell phone). It was described as expensive by someone. My cord ligature was not expensive since I spent more than $200 for it. The CRY0 algorithm The thing.

Versa Rovner
3/5

A pair of metal Berg tenor mouthpieces cost me this. I like it somewhat, but it is cumbersome and fussy when it comes to after experimenting with the plate inserts in all the suggested configurations, I found that the stock ligature did not really prove to be more effective. There are also small metal insert plates that are quite easy to lose. My favorite part of their ligatures is their platinum color.

The ligature has little effect on your sound, although it is a good product in general

A good product. Expensive.

The game is suitable for any skill level and style of play
5/5

As a college student majoring in music education, I use this ligature on both of my mouthpieces (Selmer S80 C* and D’Addario Select Jazz D7M) and I find it very effective. Having said that, the mouthpiece remains in place when the ligature is on, so be aware of this issue. When the ligature is off, the plate doesn't always stay.

The ligature is excellent
5/5

My ligature is connected to a Yamaha tenor sax, and my mouthpiece is a Vandoren Optimum. I like this chord ligature because it helps me get the warm classical sound I want on the instrument, and it is an improvement over the standard chord ligature that came with it. As it came in the box, I'm using it As far as plates and flaps go, I have not yet tried them.

Very happy with the product! I had to order a second one for my backup mouthpiece because I loved this product so much
5/5

It's exactly what I was looking for. This makes it possible to adjust the embouchure tension freely.
