Federico, I don't have a Dukoff, I'm not sure if it will be of any use to you. A Marmaduke, a Lebayle, and a Selmer mouthpiece are among the ones I own. Only one thing I can say is that it is a fantastic ligature. This is an excellent soundmaker that is both comfortable and very good sounding. I wish you the best of luck.
Thank you for your kind words, but I'm not A mouthpiece made of ebony is not available to me. There is no problem using the ligature with the majority Can you please let me know what the diameter of your mouthpiece is?
The reason I don't know is because I am not sure why it shouldn't be done. I have a Selmer Paris soloist mouthpiece that fits the

I ordered this a few weeks ago and recently received it by As a result of my impatience, I bought a more expensive leather ligature to get it sooner. I was not surprised that it was going to be a side-by-side A comparison on the left The price difference between the two is $24 vs $64 for the Therefore I am keeping both for use with both of my mouthpieces as they are performing great so far. Nevertheless, if I were only allowed to choose one, and purely on the basis of budget, I would definitely choose the Rovner, not allowing myself to fret over missing out on the more expensive but equally effective Van Doreen In addition to fitting the reed perfectly, they both adjust easily with just one screw and are visually pleasing.
My only issue is that I cannot pair this ligature with a mouthpiece, although the cap and ligature look good together. There was a problem with the mouthpiece where I was playing. The ligature was too wide and the reed was not firmly attached to the mouthpiece. With my no-name metal ligature, I was able to play lower notes more easily. Being a doubler, I took care of looking for something that would give me an orchestral feel I like the sound of the instrument but also the ease with which I can adjust it. It hasn't quite worked out I still need more time. I'm not sure whether I'm up for this ligature, but I know I'll be able to use it once I am.
Besides the product itself, I bought a Yamaha 4C mouthpiece and Vandoren ZZ reeds along with it. From the newly added features to my tenor saxophone, I would have to say the ligature has helped me improve both my tone and playable note range. There is only one complaint, which is that the box came a bit small in the mail It was a bit beat up and the ligature was a bit bent. It took me about 5 minutes to wait 5 minutes after I laid the ligature on the mouthpiece without the reed Afterwards, the shape returned to normal after about 10 minutes. In my opinion, this is a very useful product and I recommend getting one for every tenor saxophonist.
In my experience as a beginner who only has a few months' experience playing the horn, this ligature is a vast improvement over the stock metal one that came with my It gives me higher highs and fewer lows that are hazy. When paired with my Meyer hard rubber mouthpiece, playing is even more enjoyable! A greater degree of enjoyment, more practice time, and a greater level of I would say that a 30 dollar investment in your sound is a pretty good one. It is recommended.
While Rovner makes a quality product, this is listed as a tenor sax mouthpiece, when it is actually more suitable for tenor slim or alto std. Unless you are using a special ligature, this is not the right ligature for your mouthpiece.
I use the upside-down method described in the article. Works pretty well for me. I use the upside down method like most other people do. As soon as you first get it, it feels tight, but after a few uses it gets loose. The surface of my brush gets wet when I use it, so after using it I rinse it off and let it dry Ideally, you should use either Vaseline or oil to lubricate the screwing mechanism. Overall, this is a very.
He started playing jazz this year and was looking for a better one. Naturally the first thing I did was go on Amazon to find out what was available. It was a product I knew would be best suited to his needs when I found it. It couldn't be any more true for him. His favorite part of playing the guitar is the rich tone it produces. This would be a great gift for any music lover.
The Vandoren V5 T20 hard rubber mouthpieces and Selmer Soloist C** mouthpieces both fit perfectly. I haven't compared it to any other ligatures, so I cannot compare it to another.
