Compared to my previous set for my Baritone and Alto of the same model, these clamps fit my 1952 SML Revision D Tenor Sax very well. My alto was better than my bari and the effects on my bari were poor.

It is almost never closed in the low D. As long as the problem keys stay closed, this is a plus.

There is a problem with Sax Clamps

In terms of saxophone clamps, this is the equivalent of doing Rubics Cubes. It is unclear from the instructions whether these clamps will work on a Mark VI or not, and I imagine the clamps work on some saxes. One of the consolation items was the low price. I also bought a set for a 28M Conn alto, which was slightly better, but fell off the lower keys when I put the sax in the Your money will not be wasted.

This is not as bad as I thought it would be

Those can be bent to fit your horn, but they must be curved to make them Just a little, just a tiny bit. Therefore, they can be used on modern horns with no problem.
