There is no way that weight could pass around the curve of my alto sax bell! As a result, I have to jiggle it around, shake it, swear at it, and wiggle and shake it some more to get it to fall all the way through the horn! I'm so sorry! What is worse, the "cord" for pulling it through is a 3/8 inch wide shiny ribbon which, as soon as it gets wet, sticks to the side of the horn! This would be SHOCKING to hear that anyone is using this on an alto without any hangups

This works well for all saxophones except for single piece straight saxophones

Thick enough to not be able to get through the neck of an entire human The Soprano Sax is a two-piece / fixed neck instrument. I had a tough time getting it unstuck from my Soprano because it got stuck. You should change the description to say Alto Sax and delete references to soprano. It may work on a 2 piece soprano (detachable neck), but I am not sure about that. Other than that, this is an excellent sax for my alto.

It's THE BEST swab and the easiest to use! It's really great that this swab works! Drying out my instrument is the best part of using this product

Although I have never had a problem using it, I would like to see a bit heavier weight at the end. This is a highly recommended book.

Three in one functions are good because they are simple to use. Our 9 year old child is learning to play the saxophone for the first time. I love it! It's very easy.
