Selected User Reviews For D'Addario Woodwinds Reed Guard for Tenor/Baritone Saxophone and Bass Clarinet, Black

In my experience, they will hold the reeds on my bass clarinet very well, if not much bigger I believe, but I'm not familiar with the size of the contrabass reeds
5/5

If that helps in any way, I also use a fibrecell reed and plastic reeds.

Try to find one good reed as soon as possible! A convenient holder like these is hard to beat
5/5

Since I play a lot of reed instruments, keeping the reeds separated keeps me from losing reeds. Similarly, the same size holders for Alto could be blue, and the same size holders for Clainet could be red. I would consider a greater array of sizes if I was really picky about it. We have a limited amount of cases to store items!.

The WOW factor
5/5

In my old college days, my reed guards from the same company were made of metal, and still do the same wonderful job of keeping my best reeds flat, sorted, and ready to play. As of now, the green section has shown up.
