The way this looks was sufficient for my piccolo. I'm not sure what a recorder swab looks like.
Hodge also makes a flute swab specifically for flutes, so that's good too.

A four or five-star rating might be appropriate for this swab. It's a bit awkward to use (after you tighten the roll, press and fold, the material bunches up in the middle, and the tube doesn't end up being tubular as desired for cleaning an instrument that consists primarily of The rest of the bag is well-made, with perfect stitching and quality materials, as well as not being
Most of the reasons I chose 5 stars rather than 4 were because I'm tired of reviewers complaining that there is no attached string to this product. It's obvious there's no such thing. There's not a single indication in the item description that this could be the case. My understanding is that people cannot justify trashing a product for a feature that is a known aspect of its.
This type of swab is fantastic. My piccolo is a Cocus Wood Keefe, and it works perfect. Because my pink one was stolen by my college student, I decided to buy the black I find that it is the best material to use for crafts because it doesn't get stuck. Even so, I find the silk to be a bit fragile, and despite the metal rod being inserted carefully, it does appear to tear easily. I have found that it is just about the only thing that actually fits inside the body of a piccolo other than cheesecloth, which, in my opinion, is a pain to work with.
The cleaning rod and the instrument fit perfectly into the adapter. As well as being reasonably priced. Across town, a local music store was charging $10 for the same fabric.
There is no catching on the This is amazing to me.
Using it requires that you have your own rod, as it is not a pull-rod In a stylish manner. I love that it works great and that it does not get stuck in my piccolo because it's silky and compresses well. Moisture can be absorbed well by it, so it satisfies its purpose.
The piccolo absorbs the spit in my mouth. They are inexpensive. A non-profit organization A scratchy feel.
I like this.
