This is my first bottle, so I don't have much experience with it. I changed the strings on my Yairi Alvarez CY 200 and oiled the fretboard. It was well absorbed and should offer adequate protection. I used less than 10 of the bottle in subsequent applications and I presume I will use less in subsequent applications as well.
My Yamaha 300sc was in need of some TLC. I lubed the neck while changing the strings and noticed a significant improvement in the color and feel of the instrument. It appeared to be a lot more expensive. This bore oil is something I'm glad I purchased. It was through a youtube video on how to restring an acoustic guitar that I became aware of it.
It really works and removes all of the finger oils and spit from the fretboard, making it look and feel brand new.
It is odorless and clear. This is what I use on the fingerboards of my acoustic guitar. It refreshes the appearance of the items. As a result, odor is important.
It did exactly what it said it would do. Only used a small amount and used it to keep the tendons and inserts dry. Wood swelling in those areas is reduced, making it easier to disassemble the instrument.
This bore oil is what I use on my keys. fewer flutes made of wood The oil penetrates the wood and seals it against moisture.
