Instead, I found a larger, tapered swab made of a more absorbent material that is less likely to stick on the register tube, pad papers for sticky pads (something I've never seen in a kit before), a laminated card with simple care instructions accessible for young players, cork grease, a nice microfiber cleaning cloth, and a bag to keep it all in (also something I've never seen much of). The fingering chart and pencil, which are laminated, are also a nice touch. All-inclusive br>br> First and foremost, kudos to Monster Oil for introducing a teacher-friendly cleaning kit. Student-friendly, practical, and beneficial!.

The Monster Clarinet Care and Cleaning Kit is one of my favorites. Why? In comparison to the ones my son had used for his clarinet, the swab really gets the moisture out. The moisture-gathering paper for under the keys is fantastic-- That was a difficult item to come by for my daughter's flute maintenance, and the thumb rest pad was a nice extra. This, combined with the cork grease, microfiber wipe-down cloth, and fingering chart, resulted in a very nice package.

This kit is a hit with something! The kit comes with a variety of essential care items that have been packaged in a fun way. The plastic zip top case keeps everything together and fits well in a case with an outside pocket. The cleaning schedule serves as a helpful reminder to keep your instrument in good working order. My son is starting a beginner band, so I ordered a clarinet cleaning kit for him. The clarinet kit includes instructions for cleaning a saxophone as well. I suppose I'll look up how to clean a clarinet on the internet. That was one of the reasons I placed my order--so he'd know what to do. a source of frustration.

I haven't used it myself (I have about as much musical ability as a cricket), but my child plays clarinet in their school band and has had nothing but positive things to say about it. Personally, I liked the design, and it came with clear instructions on how to clean it. I can't think of anything else to say about it except that it got the job done.
