Questions & Answers
That is not the case with this cork grease. The corks on clarinets would fall off if this were the case. Since I was a kid, I used this cork grease to take care of my clarinet.
There are none.
Not a scent to be found
Despite the fact that this product is designed for cork, I believe it will lubricate As I have said, I use it on the metal neck piece of my bass clarinet, and it works perfectly. A recorder may use a small amount of grease, and I would wipe off any grease left on the instrument joints with a tissue after it has been played.

This year, my daughter began to play the flute, and the rental was in reasonably good condition, but it was difficult to assemble and disassemble. The cork grease on this site is an excellent bargain. After cleaning the insides of the flute pieces with my little finger as well as the outsides of the sections I would join together with a cloth, I used it to clean the ends of the flute pieces. After this, it was easier to put together since the black stuff was removed and the grease reacted with it. As long as she continues to practice and enjoys playing the Flute (she seems to enjoy it a lot), I hope that she sticks with it. We hope that 5 packs of grease will make it last for a long time.
In my position as a chemical or fluid engineer, I would probably be able to comment on the preservative properties of those grease sticks, or place them on a viscosity spectrum. However, I am not, so when the resident musician says they are "fine", I tell him welcome to the party.
Despite the packaging appearing to be a little different than advertised, it makes no difference to the product! It is wonderful that you can get such a good product for such a low price.
The cork seems to absorb it very easily (I do use my fingers to apply it)!.
Any musician who is having difficulty breaking an instrument that just won't break would benefit from this book The word "in".
I use it on my clarinets and bass clarinets and it performs very well.
It was fine with the first tube, but the second tube turned into a hard and sticky substance that was difficult to deal with. This is something I do not recommend.
In my Calabash meerschaum pipe, I use this to keep the cork lubricated for tight sealing.
