Questions & Answers

My purchase of this rosin has created a lot of dust contrary to the reviews. What can I do?

It is important to use the bare minimum amount of rosin on a bow as with any good quality rosin. Whenever your bow produces too much dust, it is because you have applied too much rosin on the hairs.

When applying the rosin, how should you apply it?

Everything is normal as it always is. In one hand, you hold the rosin cake and cloth, and in the other, you bow

When it says 21 pounds, what does it mean?

Often times the same product is not listed as having a weight or the shipping weight is far less than 21 ounces on other sites. Three pounds are equal to 21 pounds. There are 36 ounces in each bottle.

If it's not suitable for dry Southern California climate then (based on ?

The reviews you have read are not known to me. Now for my own I use this rosin in the Nevada desert, which is the true desert. My problem with it is that it is not a problem for me. The humidity percentage in Southern California is higher than that in California (Los Angeles County & San Bernardino County) was my home for most of my life. You should to take the same precautions with your rosin as you would with your violin or viola and your bow, and I don't think there will be any problems at all.

It's rosin of the highest quality
5/5

Bernardel rosin is the only rosin I use. This is excellent. Thanks to Prime, I got it in two days. If you are a violinist or violist (I'm not a cellist, so I can't comment on product is a terrific selection. What is the quality difference of the Yes, of course! What do the differences in rosin quality mean? That's for sure. If you are applying rosin, always hold your fingers on the edge of the ferule (the metal around the hair, at the frog). The whole world of rose is fragile. Roses (no matter the brand) chip You can rosin at the frog without chipping if the rosin is protected from the ferule.

Is as good as the hype suggests
5/5

have just entered the intermediate violin stage, and I read other reviews that raved about this rosin so I thought I'd give it a go. All five of them seemed a bit unlikely to me Reviews that have received five stars. It has not only convinced me, but it has also saved me money. It was noticeable to my level even with relatively inexpensive CF bows that they had a different tone, a smoother bow and an overall better experience. In addition, I did not previously use cheap rosin. There are no names I'll mention, but I used rosin consistently rated in the top five by professional and advanced Compared to the rosin I was using, I didn't notice any difference in messiness. There is only one thing I like about other rosin--it has a plastic disk on which the rosin sits giving me a better grip while Despite that, it is a minor flaw and does not warrant a downgrade. My money's on this product already.

Rosin that has been tried by this beginner is the best
5/5

To begin with, I must add that I am new to playing violins and this review is drawn from my experiences with only five other rosins so far. From the tip of the bow to the base of the frog, this rosin provided me with the cleanest and most consistent sound. Although I haven't mastered bowing yet, I wish I was better at it. However, playing the frog bounces from time to time regardless of the rosin. It still is consistently better than other rosins I have used. Goldflex is another option I would like to try, although I am sure it is just no better than others due to its gold content Additionally, I wanted to try the Jade rosin, which I have read so many good reviews about, so I decided it was worth a shot.

Packaging looks nice, and the rubber is grippable
5/5

My first time playing the violin was when I was a child, but I began rosining with my third attempt when I was around 10. Firstly, I baked a Cake that was too light and very hard to work with. I had to re-bake it After practice, apply the second. The third was a dark glue. I cut into it and noticed that the surface of the cake was pitted and the rosin had flakes of flaking off the cake. It must have been very It probably was a mistake not to return it. Compared to the previous version, this was vastly improved. applies smoothly and evenly and is easy to use. As a result, it lasts longer on the bow than it did on the front. It is grippier than either of the first two, and does not produce too much dust. Getting used to that is going to take a bit, but I think I will love As well as coming attached to a microfiber cloth so it will be easy to handle, it also has a dark blue pouch that has a velvety texture and adds another layer of protection and cushion.

This is incredible! My usual reviews are short, but I feel like I ought to write one for this great product! Before I used cheap D'Addario rosin, partly because I didn't know there was anything better, and partly because I thought the rosin actually doesn't make that much difference
5/5

After that, Bernadel was recommended to me by my new teacher. Having come across it, I thought I'd give it a try, but I was not expecting anything great from it. It went from being closed to being opened and became effective when I finally cracked it open! I was able to improve my sound so much that anyone would have thought my violin and bow cost a lot more than they had actually done. If I knew about this rosin years ago, I would have bought it! Then this is your ideal rosin. You'll hear a sound that will enhance your sound more beautifully (who doesn't? ), then order Bernardel and thank you for your support!.

The application process is simple, and the audio is robust
5/5

I bought one for my 9 year old (who has been playing for four years) and one for my 6 year old (who has been playing for one year). It is a favorite for both of them. The most common feedback is "the bow is soft and easy to rosin. "

For my 9 years old who is studying Suzuki book 3 & 4, this is an answer she has given me. 4 She said using this rosin had definitely helped bounce her bow and she has been hitting slow long bows more predictably and crisply. We, as adults, can hear high and low tones with a wider range of clarity. I highly recommend this book. If you already invested a lot more on your bow and violin, there is no sense in saving $5 to $10 by purchasing cheap hard rosin!.

I am amazed! Since I began playing the cello 30 years ago, I have never used a rosin this good! of my cello is increased by at least 30% when I apply this rosin to my bow
5/5

There are many marcato/staccato sections, and they are easy to bow and it sounds excellent. Thank you for sharing this information, I am sorry I didn't come across it sooner. Rosin dust is messier than any other rosin I have ever used when I'm done with my playing, my cello looks like a tornado hit it. Even though it takes a little extra time and effort, I find that the fun factor is worth it.

It looks nice and is easy to put on
5/5

Let me be honest with you Cellists are learning about different rosins for the first time, but I don't know much about them. Yet I can tell a big difference between this and the cheap stuff I received when I rented my cello for free. When cheap stuff is used, it falls apart and becomes a mess. Despite the fact that Bernardel stays intact and goes on so easily, it is still so durable. As long as rosin lasts, I think it's fine to spend a little extra on a nice one. The pouch and cloth are a nice touch, too.
