Compared to other rosins I've used, this is the best. There is a smooth and powerful tone to the tone. There is very little dust produced by this substance. It is also brittle, which means you should be watchful when handling It broke into a million pieces the day I got it after I dropped it on the floor.

I used this to fix the problem. It was a matter of a strand of bow hair falling out every 5 to 15 minutes. When the bow was soaked in rubbing alcohol, allowed to dry and then treated with Cecilia Solo, all breaking improved. Plus, the cello definitely sounds better and plays a lot better than it used to.

High pressure bow weight is what it is rated for and it worked. I have chosen it as my new favorite song.
