In the 55 years that I have been playing the cello, this is the best rosin I have ever bought. I would like to thank you.
Rosin is comparable to other rosins at a similar price. I am satisfied with the overall outcome.
The tone is very good without being too harsh. There are only a few rosins that are different among a lot of expensive ones. These two albums from the same maker are worth the time and effort.
The best rosin comes from the earth.
In addition to playing the cello and viola for decades, I have also studied the instrument. As a rosin player, I've experimented with most of the different premium rosins over the past 40 years. Most recently, Rosins were introduced for VIOLIN, VIOLA, and CELLO by the Cecilia Signature. Among all the rosins I have ever used for my bows and instruments, I believe this is the best. In order to provide prospective purchasers with some information, these fractional shares are being offered at The size of the cake is the same as the original Tartini and Andrea rosin cake.
Our previous formula was Andreas Solo, however the "Signature Formula" of Cecilia is much more effective if not even A solo Andreas gives a more projecting sound while a "Signature Formula" Cecilia gives a more rich and smooth sound, although a little less so when compared with a solo Andreas. This one is growing on us as well, and we love the Andreas Solo as well.
Despite its light grip, this rosin is medium and good. This is a good violin method for someone like me who is learning the instrument for the first time.
