During the 55 years I have played the cello, this is the best rosin I have ever bought for the instrument. Please accept my sincere thanks.
The rosin is good, just like other rosins of similar price. I am satisfied with the overall outcome.
The grip is extremely good without being very harsh. There were only a few that felt different out of the many expensive rosins I tried. It, along with "A Piacere" by the same maker, is worth checking out.
There is a rosin for every kind of wine.
As well as studying and playing the cello and viola, I have played for many years. Since I began playing guitar 40 years ago, I have experimented with most of the different premium rosins. Recently, the Cecilia Signature rosins for VIOLIN, VIOLA, and CELLO have been released. It is my experience that these are the best rosins I have ever dealt with when dealing with bows and instruments. These 1/2-acre lots are listed in the following order for the information of prospective purchasers The size of the tartini and rosin cakes is the same as the originals.
Previously, we used Andreas Solo, but the Cecilia "Signature Formula" is most likely superior or even A Solo Andreas has a more projecting sound, while the Signature Formula Cecilia has a more rich and smooth, despite being somewhat less projecting in comparison to the Solo Andreas. The Andreas Solo is a favorite, but we seem to be falling in love with this one,.
The grip on this rosin is medium to light. I am a beginner violin student, and it works well for me.
