Questions & Answers

The major difference between the 3/4 and 4/4 size is the length, Is that the reason?

A bass of this size is considered to be an adult bass. The bow of a 4/4 instrument might be slightly longer, but things aren't quite as standardized as they are with other string instruments, especially the double bass

Selected User Reviews For Model DM2629 Double Bass Bow Size Top Brazil Wood German Type … (1/2 - Size)

The game is very playable for the price, but there are a few small imperfections
4/5

It is a great bow at a great price. The stick had a good camber to it, the frog was easy to adjust, and the hair has never given me any trouble. This stick contains the grain of the wood in a straight line, and I did not find a point where the grain runs out of the side. Bows priced between $150 and $200 can be found relatively favorably here. You can find this from $5. 00 to $250. 00. There is a wide range of quality among bows in the $00 range, although it is important to keep in mind that the quality of bows at this low price is variable. I would give this bow a solid 70 or 75 out of 100 for balance, which is very impressive for this price.

The reason I am giving it only four stars instead of five is because the finishing could have been improved. One of the mother of pearl inlays has what I would consider to be a blemished quality piece of this piece, as well as some small tooling marks on the frog and wood. The bow is fine for the price I paid for it, but I would have rather spent extra money to get a better finish. Furthermore, I would have preferred a bow that looked better but didn't function much better. A polish can get rid of blemishes if you so wish A broken stick is nearly impossible to fix. In order to play this bow in, I paired it with Carlsson rosin and it may have taken perhaps an hour and a half. Updates to this review will be made if significant changes occur. In conclusion, here's what it comes down to The bow is well built for the price, especially for those looking for a bow quickly, or at a relatively low cost.

This bow has a cheap price tag despite its high price
5/5

Reviewing books is not part of my normal lifestyle, but this one just had to be written. This review should help some of you to get rid of that same sketchy hesitant feeling that comes with buying a less than $200 bow. A comparison between my $300 carbon fiber bow and that of the bow above - A mellow attack and warm tone on the wing as opposed to a brighter tone and sharper attack on the carbon fiber. It is smooth and less scratchy than previous bow hair. You should also consider your technique when making this decision. In conclusion, this is an excellent soloing instrument* - Much easier to play on and surprising at how light it is in comparison to Please note
My favorite thing about the brand is the branding embossed on the product. The feel and look of the device is very solid, and it feels like a $500-750 device The cost of the bows is 800 dollars I like the best thing about it. It's a bit expensive.

The fiberglass bow is a big improvement over it
5/5

When I got this bow, I had been learning to use a Glasser fiberglass bow for two years. In the short period after my adjustment period, I found that this bow improved my playing immensely. In addition to making it easier to play longer notes, it is also well balanced for short strokes played with wrist movements. The fundamentals of the notes are stronger and the harmonics are fewer. It was necessary to cut off a few bow hairs because they came loose. This is a very good value for the money!.

The best performance bow on the market today
4/5

The bow has been mine for about 6 months now, and it has been of great service to me. This device plays very well especially when used in a baroque or romantic music style. Even though I have been completed on the bow multiple times by professional musicians, there are some inherent defects. It's important to know that bow hair is not that strongly recommend that you get it rehaired as soon as possible once you receive it. Additionally, the bow of the item has been slightly bent but this should be expected when in transit. In addition, it is a highly durable bow at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it for high school students in their advanced years Students who play the bass in college.

For the price, this is a good bow
5/5

It would be a good choice for people who are switching from english to german, or students. At its price, it is excellent, or it is a good.
