It is a great bow at a great price. The stick had a good camber to it, the frog was easy to adjust, and the hair has never given me any trouble. This stick contains the grain of the wood in a straight line, and I did not find a point where the grain runs out of the side. Bows priced between $150 and $200 can be found relatively favorably here. You can find this from $5. 00 to $250. 00. There is a wide range of quality among bows in the $00 range, although it is important to keep in mind that the quality of bows at this low price is variable. I would give this bow a solid 70 or 75 out of 100 for balance, which is very impressive for this price.
The reason I am giving it only four stars instead of five is because the finishing could have been improved. One of the mother of pearl inlays has what I would consider to be a blemished quality piece of this piece, as well as some small tooling marks on the frog and wood.
