I do not see how it would not work. The fiddle I use for it is 14 inches long and 5 strings. The trick to making it go the long way is to hold it so it's going downward so gravity will push it on its long way and not curly at the tail
Please let me know if I have missed the gist When and with what is it suitable for use? I suppose you might be able to use one dampit alongside one more, so that you have two dampits, but you run the risk of providing too much moisture and humidity to the instrument. The humidity in the area where I live ranges from 80% to 90% Ninety percent of the population rises in the morning Approximately a third to a half of the population by afternoon A 50% commission. When the A/C is running at my house and I have one dampit, my viola case's interior is hovering between 45-55% draught. 47% of the population should be able to vote.
My suspicion is that this is a typo There is a viola in it. It was clearly indicated in the title of this item that this was a viola when I bought it - It was a simple matter to confirm the original order. There is now a listing for the same item in the "accordion" category.
While I am unsure of the exact length for the viola, it is longer than the piano. I believe that a violin one would work fine in a viola, but it is not the case in reverse. This type of dampit trap comes with a washer that prevents it from falling The washer should be used on whatever instrument it is on, but I think it is even more important to use the washer on the viola if it is the violin size. I hope you find this helpful.

In addition to my cello, viola, and 150-year-old violin, I have Dampits. There has never been an instance where an instrument got wet courtesy of one of these. These products keep my instruments at the right humidity level and I depend on them to do it. Their humidifier gauge shows the perfect level of humidity all the time, they are easy to use, and they are easy to maintain. This is a great deal you cannot pass up.
A viola Dampit is really better than a violin Dampit, since it holds a bit more moisture, which means you don't have to re-hydrate the viola as often The frequency of charging is the same. To get it to fit, you just need to hold the instrument upside down and insert it toward the neck. Sorry, I should have checked One of my violins can be fitted to the f-hole, but the other cannot The other hole needs to be filled.
I find it funny that such a simple and inexpensive item like this can work so well The answer is yes! It keeps the house in tune in the winter when I leave it in and close it. Our house gets really dry in the winter. In the past, I used to pull out my viola to play it and it would be all out of tune. The method works!.
I am trying to get in touch with the seller because after a couple of years my daughter's viola dampit ended up with a black end and I am Our satisfaction with it had been very high until then.
Thank you very much for this!.
I like it.
I bought the guitar for a Baby Taylor. There is little moisture held in it, so I don't know whether it helps. They recommended this size for that particular guitar at Dampit.
