If you want a German bow for fun and alternative bowing, this is an excellent The weight and study are good, and it's pretty well balanced, especially for the price point.
It cost me money to have this bow shipped overnight to us so my daughter could have it before she left It arrived at a time when I was thrilled. I was disappointed that it did not hold up to daily use and by day three had fallen apart. Maybe I received a defective.
My first time using it, I broke it. After I found out several months later that she was off at college, I wondered why she had not told me sooner. I guess next time I will have better luck.
