There is virtually no space between the bridge and the finish on my large 3/4 bass. In light of this, I would have to say no to the 1/4 size bass as well.

It is clunky and heavy, so it gets 3 stars. There was only a black leather lining with a soft fuzzy feeling to it. It surprised me that it has an opening with a triangle-shaped shape, instead of a more traditional oval shape. It would be more pleasing if it were oval rather than There is an incredible amount of stiffness in this. A stiff cardboard must be stiched into the leather for it to be However, the consequence is that it is If it's heavy, it will sound quieter since heavier weight on a bridge or tailpiece means more weight on your bridge or tailpiece. The more mass on the bridge or tailpiece, the greater the muting effect. A lightweight vinyl or thin leather quiver would be the best choice if your volume won't be affected. In order to be more convenient, I stopped using the quiver 24/7, and only use it during orchestra rehearsals.
It's a plucked jazz/pop instrument I'm learning, but I also want to play it with my bow in the classical style. So, I needed a bow quiver to carry The quiver is excellent I can easily attach my bow in a fashion so that it doesn't rest against the belly of the bass. My bow goes in and out very easily, as well. In a nutshell, it is a semi-automatic An easy to use, rigid quiver that allows the bow to slip in and out without a hassle. There is no question that this is much more preferable than a more flexible quiver. This is a great game for beginners and pros alike.
The look and feel are both great! The bass sits nicely on it!.
I have a 3/4 bass and this works perfect.
String bass player whose son is a faculty/staff member of the University of Iowa orchestra. The bow quiver was requested for Christmas by a young man who recently bought a new string bass. Afterwards, he said it was exactly what he was looking for and described it as excellent quality. Whether he is happy with it or not is up to him!.
Featuring a stiff opening that makes it easy to insert a bow quickly, it has a well-designed, sturdy opening. It was harder to insert the bow into a cheaper one since it was not stiff and the "V" in the opening was on the wrong side. As a smaller target, it was easier to hit. Spending a few more bucks is well worth it.
A great product of great quality.
I love this very nice quiver because it is very easy to use, has a soft lining, and is very easy to get my bow in and out of. It does not impede my pizzicato playing when I'm inside, and it has both a professional look and feel I think it has the best design and seems to be well made. IF it was lost, I would replace it if lost, as it looks to last a very long time with no maintenance. The best and most cost-effective way to protect and enhance the performance of any bow that's worth using.
