It was a great Christmas present to receive this beautiful Tonareli viola case. Due to the large profile of my other case, which won't fit into the overhead bins on the buses, I have to travel with my instrument between my knees when I am on an international missions trip. By about the third day, it starts to get a bit tiresome. 2) The profile of this case appeals to me. The bottom and sides of this case have exterior protection, which helps protect it from damage when you put it In addition, the handles are positioned both on the side and the top of the case, providing a choice of ways to carry it. Among the many useful storage options are two removable bags for rosin, pencils, pitch pipes, and mutes. The interior of the case is roomy and provides a nice place to attach the shoulder rest. So far, I have not figured out how to attach a humidifier to the top, but I think I could. Keeping extra strings in the music pouch on the back of the case is a good idea. This case is the perfect combination of practicality and style. It is beautiful to look at, and it is built very well. However, there are a few things I'd like to work out that prevent me from rating the case 5 stars. The first issue I am experiencing is that I am unable to figure out how to attach the straps so I can carry the case backpack The hooks for attaching the hooks are visible on the back of the case. However, I am having difficulty finding the anchors at the bottom of the case. It is possible for me to create an insert that will work, but a manufactured piece would be nice.
