Adjustable shoulder straps allow the case to be worn as a backpack.

Questions & Answers

Is there a distinct odor coming from this case? My old viola case had to be thrown out due to a foul odor, which I believe was caused by the glue used in its construction. ?

My viola did not fit into this viola case, so I had to return it. As a result, I only checked it for a few seconds. I can't say for sure whether it has a noticeable odor or not because I didn't spend enough time with it, but I don't think it did, and if it did, I'm sure I would've noticed and remembered it.

What color is the inside of the house? Is it velour, and if so, how thick is it?

The interior is black velour, and it's a fantastic case that keeps the instrument in place. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

What is the most appropriate case size for a 15-year-old? 5 viola? According to some reviews, going up to 16-bit seems to be a good idea. Others appear to say 15-size, while others say 5-size. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. ?

I have a 15-inch viola that fits snugly in the case, so a 16-inch viola would be ideal.

Is there only a shoulder strap on this case, or can it also be worn as a backpack with backpack straps?

Both the straps and the d-rings were included in the package I received. In a backpack configuration, you can use these rings. The straps are adequate, if not particularly comfortable, but the case and instrument aren't particularly heavy, so it's fine. It isn't a top-of-the-line product. the- However, if you're looking for a student case, I believe you'll be satisfied with it.

The viola is well-protected
5/5

I was hesitant to buy a new case for my daughter's viola because it was a cheap one that already came with one. This case, on the other hand, is nice enough to outlast the viola and be used with her next instrument.

It protects my viola against bumps and the elements
5/5

Viola MAX Shaped Case by Protec, fits Violas 16 to 16 inches in length. Everything! 5" Body Length, Model MX016br> At the top of the carrying case is a sturdy handle. It can be worn as a back pack thanks to the straps. Extras like a chin brace and other items can be stored in the side pockets. The viola is cradled in the interior, which is lined with soft material. To cover the viola inside the case, use a soft cloth of good quality. Bows are secured to the inside top half of the case with two levers. It protects my viola and, as a result, me.

The fit isn't quite right
4/5

This is a fantastic situation. The outer cover is made of a high-quality material with sturdy zippers. The four stars are due to the fact that, despite being listed for a 16" viola, which I own, it is still a little too big. In this case, the lower bout swivels to the side. It comes with a slip cover that you can use to reinforce it, but I prefer to use it as a cover. I'm not sure if the smaller size would solve my problem, but the advantages outweigh the disadvantages, and I'm not concerned about it jostling too much when I carry it. The subway and backpack straps are my favorites!.

I ordered this without even realizing it, which was a pleasant surprise! I needed a light case with backpack straps, so I went shopping! And there you have it! Because it is very light when you open it once it's set down, it topples over towards the lid instead of keeping your instrument on a straight horizontal plane
5/5

br>br>At least as a secondary case for the price. br>br>Because it is very light when you open it once it's set down, it topples over towards the lid instead of keeping your instrument on a straight horizontal plane.

Good
5/5

The design is extremely durable. My viola, which is supposed to be a 16", was too small to fit in the case. I don't think it's the case's fault, and I'm starting to wonder if my viola is a 16" or not. The only drawback is that the shoulder rest does not have a designated location.

Excellent value for money
5/5

The 16-piece Protec MAX VIOLA CASE (15) is an excellent deal. The Protec's zippers are sturdy and large, unlike many other instrument case zippers. While the case is light and provides adequate protection, it should not be checked with other luggage. The exterior storage area is useful, as are the included backpack straps. Do not purchase the Protec Padded Backpack Strap accessory because it is not required and will not fit the case. We recommend the Protec Violin Shoulder Rest Pouch because it is a low-cost accessory with high-quality zippers and clips. We've been using the case and pouch for a month now.

A good case at a reasonable price
4/5

The cost is reasonable. Every day, my son rides his bike with this case strapped to his back. After the first one lasted two years, I replaced it with one that was identical. It has done a good job of protecting the instrument, is light and easy to carry, and has plenty of storage space. I'm willing to replace it every few years for the price!.

The case is very sturdy and well-made
3/5

It is, however. The case is very sturdy and well-made. It is, however, stated to be 5. It's supposed to be 5 pounds, but it's actually 6. 25 lbs. My old case was hurting my back, which was one of the main reasons I purchased it. Although this case is lighter than I had hoped, it is not as light as I had hoped. Although the backpack feature is useful, I am unable to use the included straps because the clips are too large and dig into my back.
