Questions & Answers

How much room is there in the outside zippered pocket for a 1" binder?

My impression is that it is too wide. I will have a look at it The music I carry in my backpack has its own compartment. Other than that, I can place three music books in it, and there is a smaller one for my shoulder rest. I only wish the case was a 1/4 inch deeper, so that I could leave the shoulder rest on the case

Do I have to carry this on my back when I ride my bike?

The bag is a bit bulky and heavy personally, I wouldn't feel comfortable carrying it on my back during the day.

The viola case appears to have a lock. What kind of lock does it have?

I don't think so. You might even be able to close it with velcro and I am not permitted to examine it at present, since it is on loan.

Size of the zippered pocket on the exterior? Would you mind if I ask if it is deep or high enough to accommodate a Kun shoulder rest. ?

bottom twelve inches of the pocket have a trapezoid shape Top 3 and 3/4 inches, bottom 9 and a quarter inches You can easily fit a 1 " book inside a 3" x 17" piece of cardboard.

It is a good instrument for students
3/5

A pro is I specifically sought out the front pocket which holds a large paper folder of music, as well as the backpack straps, which are both In my case, I was able to store my collapsible Kuhn shoulder rest. Con It is not a very large storage area. When I put my tuner into the slot, I couldn't close it. The straps seem fine, but the ends of the straps and other parts of the bag are made from plastic, so I wouldn't use it as a backpack. I didn't feel it was The material of the blanket is very thin. A zipper closes the closure, not a latch. I think this would be suitable for use with a 15" viola that costs less than $3000. However, I needed something that would be sturdier and work as a backpack. Those are the words they use. When you pay for something, you get what you paid Personally, I wouldn't buy this again for my needs since it's not what I'm looking for.

My opinion is that these cases offer an excellent value for the price
5/5

My opinion is that these cases offer an excellent value for the price. As part of my casual gigging, I have several cheaper instruments. In this case, their needs are met perfectly. Despite the nylon exterior, the case is well made and will hold up to abuse. There are no hard points so you won't scratch tables, benches or piano lids when you're standing on it. As you can see, the backpack straps have little padding and are not particularly comfortable, but you can change them. The foam seems to be equally protective to the foam of my BAM case, but I haven't put them to a thorough stress test, so I can't vouch for how much protection it offers.

The case is suitable for use in light or moderate conditions
4/5

If you plan on using the case light/moderately, this is a good choice. This is the result of it being over 6 months old. If I use it almost every day, I expect this case to last a year. After that, it goes in the trash, and a new one must be purchased. The bag has a nice zippered pocket on the outside, it's light and comfortable to carry, and it comes in a few different sizes I do not see myself traveling to the airport with this case. It has a handle, shoulder strap, sling around the back, etc. I think it would be good for carrying around or in the car, but not for travel by plane. I like it as a local carry-around case. Getting something more heavy duty is advised if you are going to travel by plane.

This is a strong argument
5/5

Due to mold growth on my old viola case (yuck), I had to get a new one. The case is sturdy as well as lightweight and fits the viola nicely. I was happy to find that the bow latch did not catch on my violin case's bow hair like it does with my violin. Probably will get one of these for my violin too, and get rid of my old violin case.

Exceptional value for money when it comes to viola cases
5/5

I think this case would be a good value for a student. This lighter case is better suited for carrying small items. The backpack comes with straps that can be worn over the shoulder or on the back. It is a hit with the daughter. Be aware that it will need to be stuffed in the side zipper pocket if you use a rest. Besides the viola and bow, the viola and bow is all that can fit inside due to its shape. It feels comfortable, 15" would work well. There will be some tightness in 5, but it should be okay. As a student case, I don't think it's a suitable case for a professional instrument, but it should be fine for one. Pictures didn't show that it had both a Velcro and a zipper In my opinion, the Velcro doesn't really do much, it may be irritating for It looks as if it might be possible to cut off if you really wanted. By the way, I just wanted to say There are all zippers working and the handle fits comfortably in the hand.
The lining is good This case is not as plush or as nice as some of the pro cases I've seen It is targeted at a student, however. Waterproof is not a topic I can comment on Neither wet nor dry weather has yet been experienced. You might want to give it a try if you need a lighter weight case for your high school or junior high.

Achieved more than we expected
5/5

These strengths are The following *br COMPACT, LIGHT, and DURABLE, this case fits in your pocket. The following *br This violin blanket comes with shoulder straps and a blanket for the viola. The following *br Suspends the body of the viola in a mild suspension - features two straps sewn onto the sides of the case - one on each side and the other in the middle for a secure grip.
- Because the handle is SEWN onto the shaft, rather than screwed on, it is able to withstand much more stress over a longer period of time. I am 15 years old. With this case, you can fit a 5" viola snugly and it won't move when in use. The following *br Case frame, grip, cover, zipper feel sturdy (including case frame, grip, cover)* * * *I have the following issues - There is a lot of top-heavy evidence in this case. An empty case that is opened will have a tendency to tip slightly over. If the instrument tips over, there is no damage to it It is just an annoyance - Despite the spaciousness of the book compartment, there is no place to place the shoulder rest in the case. Nonetheless, the cases can hold a couple of books as well as the shoulder rest. The following *br There is an issue with this case fitting the 15 perfectly. The violas are 5" in diameter. To obtain the 16-digit code, follow these steps If your 15" case is wide, put a 5" case in it. A 15" viola or any 5" instrument would be great. Approximately 75" in diameter As well, any distorting force (such as the weight of someone sitting on top of the case) will not be buffered by the void in As a result, the viola itself begins to feel the applied force immediately. The following *br Although bows can slide back and forth during transportation, they can still be damaged. In terms of my purchase, I am very satisfied! Based on the materials and construction of this case, I am confident I will be able to use it for years to come! (I will edit this review if it does not). It is hard to imagine what the $200 version of the Protec Max case will offer if the $50 version is this good. I congratulate Pro Tec on their excellent work!.

It is a lightweight and sturdy case for violas
5/5

This is a great Although I first bought it for the 5 string violin, I have fallen in love with it so much that I'm going to add one for the viola. The problem I have had with cases is that they are too heavy to move With this case, you can easily put it on your back and carry it. Using the flexible 15-day payment plan The 5 instrument opening is large enough to allow me to place a shoulder rest along the bottom so that the instrument does not float about. Low end cases like this one are usually a little more expensive than some of the $30 options but they are worth it.

There is no doubt that I am in love
5/5

I love this case so much! The picture is stunning! wrestling with this awful case for six years now. 1) It is the perfect size for travel and it has straps that make it easy to carry There are two pockets on the front, two bow holders, a little compartment for rosin, and enough room on the top of the instrument to fit a shoulder rest. I would definitely recommend it!.
