I believe the case is too long and too wide for most airlines overhead bins, but I would recommend checking with the specific airline first. The case is 34 inches long and 12 inches wide. I believe the length would exceed what is allowed. The pieces are on.

Until that time, everything has been perfect! I just received the Viola Case today and I can't believe how hard it was to open! That's the number I chose to buy for my I am grateful that you gave something nice to her because she is one of the hardest working kids I've ever met.
