Please accept our apologies. The handles are sewed into the bag. Please accept my thanks, hope I was able to answer your question, and best wishes, George at Sky
There is probably no way to fit a 16 in the case. The viola is a 5 inch instrument. 16" is the length of my viola, so it fits snugly.
There are 35 of them. Five inches by twelve inches by seven

There wouldn't be enough evidence to sustain this case over the course of a single season. I found the clasp on the case to be a little thing that you'd see on a little girl's diary, and I liked the remainder of the construction. The seller did offer me a better item when I returned the original one, so it doesn't seem to be the seller's fault. This item is all I need. Consider spending the extra $50 on the one with a brown liner and you will save yourself some trouble.
I love the fit of the case on my viola. This instrument is protected, and I feel confident it will last a long time. There is a hard exterior to the case under the fabric cover. The built-in interior consists of a plush velour type fabric over what I believe to be solid foam. All of the hardware, including the closure and zippers, appears to be strong and durable.
This is a good case for the price. I thought the layout of the case was better than the one pictured. An elastic strap holds the viola in place rather than ribbons tied with a knot. It is better to have the cutout for the shoulder rest in the correct place than in the picture. As well as these bigger differences, there were some smaller ones. This case has been a great experience for me overall!.
She loves it.
Although this case is not great, it fills my needs for the money that I spent on it. The product was good and the service was fast.
I guess it's not a bad purchase for the price, but it has two major drawbacks. There are several ties that hold the scroll to the case, so if you carry it on your back the scroll repeatedly hits the back of the case, which is an issue for me. Additionally, the instrument is not sitting firmly inside, since none of the ties provide sufficient support. This would not be a purchase I would make.
Both students and adults will find this to be a great resource.
