A rosin compartment, but no rosin? I think this is a great case! It's good that there are keys for the latches on it. Not having a separate compartment to store rosin is one of the few things that annoys me The reason it's 4 stars is because of that. Instead, I fit the straps inside the pocket that came with the straps and place it around the instrument neck.
