The answer is no, in my opinion. This can be done quickly by adjusting the heights. You will be able to determine the correct height for each student once you figure their height out. A height change takes a little less than a minute. To ensure that the pins are engaged fully, you'll always need to check. Several months ago, I bought a bench with better material for a lower price [$30]. My major concern with it is that it did not go high enough, which was expected given its low cost. After reading the reviews I decided to buy the KT7800+ [also Made in China]. As a mechanical device, it does a great job! I give it a 5 out of 10. However, as some of the others have posted, the seat does not feel This is due to the vinyl and the welt/cord seam around the top of the shirt. Small, hard, and felt like it was cutting into my thighs, that seam feels like it is cutting into my inner I decided to remove the original cover and replace it with quality vinyl because it is one of my hobbies. The seat brackets were typically attached to the top with wood screws, too, as it appeared [before removing the top]. That arrangement has never appealed to me, and I always use "T nuts" to attach similar things. [The T nuts provide metal treads for the bolts to attach to. No, they don't rip them As the new cover is sewn over the original foam, I used the original foam. You can now relax in it as it looks great and feels.
One problem is that I cannot carry my stool where I need it to be (and that is still in the works). The bench was the right choice for me because its height can be adjusted up to 24 inches. As far as I know, the tallest one I could find is 5 inches. I measured my own seat and was able to raise the seat's height up to 21 inches (by measuring from the ground to the top).
