I think this bench will serve its purpose well. Within a week of owning it, the hinge completely ripped off when I was closing it.
I can sit comfortably on it for at least an hour while I practice. Having a hinge is unnecessary, but I have to be more careful about mending my fingers as I open and close the lid.
The only concern is that it is entirely metal. The legs and the wrench for assembling the bench were shipped inside the bench, but the scratched surface left me with nothing to do. As a result of the wrench banging around, I believe the scratches occurred. Additionally, it did not include instructions on how to assemble or use it. The first time I ran into a problem, it was quite straight forward. At any rate, I had put one adjustable leg on the front and one on the back, and there are two legs that can be adjusted in height but there are only two that can. Due to this, I had to take out two legs to place both adjustable legs on the same side. On top of that, the hinge inside the lid does not stay open unless you push it all the way back. Put it back on the bench so it is resting on the back. This is the way it is supposed to work, is it not?.
Having looked at this item, I believed it was very sturdy - The car is fine, but the seat covers were torn in the corners, which was really disappointing. If I had returned it and waited for another to arrive, I would have done the mending myself, but I kept it and decided to do it myself.
Quite sturdy and easy to assemble, this bench not only looks great but is also quite functional Metal is all over the seat except for the frame. Similarly sized wooden benches are quite heavy (which might be a factor for some people, but I did not have any problems with the weight of this bench). The way the books are stored along with the appearance of the cabinet is quite appealing to me. That's what I was looking for!.
Assembling the chair itself was not difficult. All you have to do is attach the screws in each of the four corners using the wrench that comes with it. In terms of the legs and the inside compartment, the seat is made from leather that is of a very good quality. Pads are on each of the legs to make it easier to move This is the only thing that bothers me (just a little wet marks on it, but you can wipe them off really easily.
This is a really nice bench, but it has no adjustments, and there are no instructions for assembly.
The hinge/seat of this product is poorly designed. There are no screws in the hinge on the left side. The item I purchased was in very good condition when I purchased it from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Before reselling the item, it was clear that no one REALLY looked at.
In a nutshell, There are several tools included in the concept which make putting it together very simple. There is a problem with the alignment of the A bolt is hit when the door closes. I have no complaints about that if it is replaced or adjusted. It is only a matter of time before I return. You can view the video here (attached).
